Looks Awesome!!! Congrats on the new edition!
I realize this is off topic but I saw your pics on that thread & realized we're talking about two completely different Green Rivers in VT. Who would've thought for a state as tiny. The one I worked at is a tad closer to the Canadian border than the one 15 miles from Mass- only about 3.5 hours north. Its a state park called the Green River Reservoir & its definitely off the beaten path, even some locals have a hard time finding it.
Just wanted to clarify.
Very nice pics Kylemd... or is it Dr Kyle? Well, if so I'll have you know they've gotten me to exhibit sialorrhea!
Is that in 18350 mode?Order #2018 here and your pics make it look like a winner despite some complaints voiced on this thread.I'm lookin forward to slappin a kayfun on a futura (by new years hopefully)
Some teasers.

I was in your neck of the woods not too long ago. Stopped by Brussels and Antwerp. Had a bad ... waffle.![]()
I think we shipped some today. Not my dept. but I'll check. If not, about 20 are going out tomorrow.
I meant it looks like there is no clear cover screen for the dna 20 incase it got liquid in it or something not a plasma tv ...? Did i really come off that whino? I did say it was goood customer service and I do like the response you gave I didn't know you would let me send to you to fix so I apologize i didn't have enough faith to attempt to email you first about my complaint , but I would like to send it to you to fix and replacement of the bottom cap if possible as stated I am Emailing you now .Sorry the Futura you received hasn't met your expectations. If the top cap is off center (which it certainly shouldn't be) please return it (we'll cover the shipping) and we'll fix it. As for the other objections, well... Here are the facts:
1. We didn't use aluminum (7075 ballistic) because it's cheaper than steel - on the contrary, it costs more due to the grade and the fact that we have to Alodine each tube for corrosion protection. We thought the device might be too heavy (and it's not light now) due to the large stainless top and bottom caps. This is not tin foil by any means, unless you think the M16 rifle or the armor used on tanks are basically beer cans in another shape.
2. Using the "original" board buttons is *much* more difficult than wiring up a bunch of external switches. Why do you think there are so few DNA 20 tube mods? A box is easy - I built my first one in a couple of hours, the next in 30 minutes. A tube is a wholly different, and alien animal.
3. Threading is done with a special tool on a CNC machine. Tolerances are as tight as possible, without making it a total pain to use and increasing the risk of cross-threading.
4. We didn't "chop" any caps - they're all made separately and individually.
5. We'll be happy to send the correct bottom cap if we made a mistake on this order. That goes for all the orders. No charge. Keep the one we sent by mistake as an extra.
6. I don't know what you mean by "there isn't a screen but the original." Would you like a 50" plasma or LED instead? That's an extra $15.
7. The paint is Cerakote. Check out their site. It ain't cheap.
8. If anyone thinks a Vamo, Evic, Siegeli, Zmax, Fill-In-The-Chinese-Clone here, etc. is a better value in terms of quality and performance, let me know and I'll refund your money at the speed of light, assuming we haven't shipped your unit.
Quick word about the Provari - It's an exceptionally well made and designed device, but it's construction is much simpler than a Futura's, and, I dare say, Cyborg, Wizard, etc. Provape has the advantage of their own board design - we don't, so we have to work with what's available. The DNA 20 in a tube mod is extremely difficult to design and implement. If it weren't you'd see Futura-alikes all over.
I've had lots of emails demanding that we justify our prices, considering the Futura is "just a DNA 20 board jammed inside a tube." Why, anyone could do that! Right. If you can, and produce a device which actually works for $59, then please do. You'll make millions! I'll spend more time at my day job and leave the mod making to the peanut gallery pros.
Sorry for the rant, but I feel the record needs to be set straight. There will be problems from time to time with individual units, especially since this is V1. But we will fix any and all, until you're completely satisfied with your purchase.
Has to do with the quantum motion of space-time when vaping at 9.3 watts or higher. Better throat hit. Fact. Yeah, for looks.
Received this reply on the 7th "Right. That's in the next wave which we're starting on Monday. We've been shipping every other day now, so you're up next.
Jon"
Apparently as stated my order was next but i still have not received shipping notice. I guess things are not as smooth sailing still. Its funny though, every time i get on a waiting list i get emails like this and i believe them each and every time. I also still get shocked when they inevitably do not come through. Ow and originally i contacted them with the wrong order number, it was 2 orders after mine and apparently (as i was told) it shipped on the 2nd - so they are definitely not shipping in order of first come first served (both the order numbers i gave him apparently had the same specs as well). Would love an update soon, and some idea of what is going, I did email the other day and have not gotten a reply either.
Thanks Jon, now please use that quantum space and time formula to ship me my device at 9.3 light years per second.
this concerns me a little to...ok, so just watched the review.
the only thing that bothers me a bit, is the part when he "blew" into the mod.
i was planning on getting the device, but now i'm a little on the fence. i don't want juice getting into my mod and causing issues.
anybody experience a problem with that??
does leftcoastvaper have anything to say about that??
