I really need to stop buying more RDAs while I wait for my Futura. I have 2 Trident v1s and a Trident V2 just waiting for 20 watts of pleasure. Lol

I know what you mean. I have been itching to get some new gear to go with my future futura.

Any suggestions on a good looking black rebuildable?

I have 5 rba's built and waiting for this mod. Any clue on when they are shipping to us?

We seem to be a bit ahead of schedule, but I know the instant I say that something's gonna come up. I'm thinking the first ones will go out in about 2 weeks, but I'm an eternal optimist.

I ordered one of these too. Not sure how much use it will get as I just got a Kayfun Lite last week and a Russian 91% today, and so far I've been impressed. Seems like it will be easier to use them on the day to day than a Genesis mod. Just figured I should at least give a Genny a shot before I dismiss it.

Yeah... I'd be a little careful about any anodized device - anodizing tends to kill electrical conductivity. I don't know how they're implementing this, but it's the reason none of the Futuras will ever be anodized. We tried it. Didn't work. Thing is, current flows on the outside, or skin, of the metal. Even if the threads are totally clean, problems can arise. We alodine our tubes, which is sort of the opposite of anodizing, for increased conductivity and corrosion protection. Now, if the coating they're using is chromate-based, it should be ok, maybe. Not real clear from their description...

Hmm, That is good to know. This site mentions that the threads are chromated, but not the body.

I'm sure whatever Vapinaze ends up doing, it'll be a great little genesis. I have complete confidence in their ability to make fine products.

That's very possible, and if so I'll be interested in seeing how they're implementing. Always open to new ways of doing things.

Hey leftcoast does it have a usb/passthough? Just wanted to know got it in sniper green
Wish I new that I could of requested more costomization befor I ordered but no biggie

No usb/pass-through, sorry. That's the point of removable batts - much easier than waiting hours for an installed batt to charge, or being tethered to a cord, imho. I get over a day's use from an 18650 (running a 2~ohm coil at 9.3 watts - my preferred wattage), and 1/2-3/4 day with an 18350. And I haven't tripped once over the pass through cable. :)
