Hey Phone Guy,

I'm in the same boat here I ordered on the 18th Jan 14 and have had no communication back from Jon. I was waiting for the tracking number that he sent me to move but it hasn't moved in over two months now and I can't get my money back now from my bank either. Lesson learned I suppose, I had a dieing VAMO at the time and was keen to get something good to replace it as I knew then that vapeing would work for me - when it did eventually die I nearly returned to the analogues while waiting for the Futura to show up lucky I was able to bring an old ego back to life while I waited for a Provari Mini to arrive.

I'm out of pocket here and I'm guessing that I'll never see the cash again or it will cost me more to try and get a refund - I fell in love with this thing after PBusardo's review and wanted one so damn bad that I took the money I had saved up for the Provari and decided to buy a Futura. I wish I had of just went with the Provape solution first at least they are a reputable company.

I'm done forever with pre orders. I was almost done with vapeing because of this - it's just not worth the drama.

Isn't there something a moderator can do here to help?

I finally looked up the address of Nexgen. Its a small town municiple airport. Perhaps its a machine shop there. Do a Google street view.
The phone number listed just goes to a fax machine. Strange because it is listed as a mobile device.

He and his partner Mike both have FB pages that are not very active.

phone guy i have to agree with all thats been said i think most people understand problems with a start up company , but no contact or email replies will make anybody look like devious intent and its such a shame the futura is an awesome mod i use mine 90% of the time and my provari 10% for me a tube mod just works best i hope things get better but after all this it maybe hard to even sell premade futura's let alone preorder

I've heard they are working on getting orders completed and shipped, as well as getting closure for those opted that route. I think Nexgen and the futura will be back soon enough.

I hope so, I'd like another one with a Tatroe provari wide base to keep nice and stay at home. My current futura has been my daily driver since I received it before last xmas holiday, I was in the initial 100 release and it's getting a dinged up and scratched :( (The Cerakote is pretty tough but not against falling over onto hard metal bits and pieces, or dropping it on a gravel driveway etc. ) I dunno, waiting to see what the Provari P3 will be, I hate single button operation and I have a feeling they'll stick with single button but I am interested in finding out what the P3 will be like. I just received a VaporShark DNA, I wanted something small for the summer as I don't have my coat pockets to keep my Futura hidden in.

I also hope they can pull it together. I was in the initial 100 orders. I had some bumps with a leaking/ 510 connector issue and waiting on a repair early on. But since then I have used it everyday and its been rock solid. Granted it has never left my lanyard to prevent drops, and a subsequent need for a repair,but I have been really happy with it. I just recently picked up a Hana DNA30 and love it. But, my Futura is still the device I leave the house with. If the QC and customer service issues were resolved I would love to have a DNA30 version Futura. I still think its the sharpest looking DNA tube mod out there. I am also waiting to see what the Provari v3 will be like. I love my provaris but since all my coils seem to come out around 1ohm, my Futura has been my go to device for 5+ months now.
I expect there will be a lot of exciting things upcoming in the vape world this year. It would be nice to see the Futura and Nexgen make the necessary changes and be a part of it all.
