Good to hear some members are getting some resolution.

However, the supplier Jon (Leftcoastvaper) was also supposed to post in this advertising thread to update members on the situation.

He has not done so to date

I've emailed him with a deadline 2014-05-31 to log on ECF and post here.

Hi Everyone,

Ok, as you all know, or probably know, we've had some issue obtaining dna 30 boards from Evolv. These have now been rectified, and all customers with outstanding orders have been advised that their units will ship shortly. Since we now have an adequate board supply, a few units will be made available within the next couple of weeks. Colors and availability will be posted on our site (NexGen Vapor | The Utimate DNA 30 Ecig) and will be strictly on a first come, first served basis. These will all be pre-built, so no waiting period. Thanks for all your patience and support throughout this trying period.

This seems to be a common problem when the battery spring "matures," so to speak. Try either stretching it or doubling up the spring with the spare one we included. If you don't have it anymore, email or PM me and I'll send you a couple. Btw, this step is especially important for the DNA 30s, as the extra power requires an even more solid ground connection. So, anyone needing extra springs, let me know - no charge. Customers only, please :)

Quick update:

We're trying out a new sealing system on the outstanding Futura orders and repairs. While the DNA boards are supposed to be liquid resistant, the fact is they aren't, so it's crucial that they don't get wet. That said, the orders that were supposed to ship today will be delayed till Monday. Sorry, but worth the extra day, I'm sure.

Regarding leakage, *please* don't store your unit with atty attached in an upright position for any length of time (like overnight or longer). They all leak. And even if you think yours doesn't, just assume it does. Some juices are very acidic and will eat right through our silicone sealant. This has been a recurring headache for all of us, and one we'd like to cure once and for all. Thanks.

I noticed some moisture in my drip well early on and ever since I am following this technique. Got to look out for attys that have fill port on the bottom (I.e. Kayfun lite) or those with 510 airflow (protanks, cartos).
Take care of your Futura and it will take care of you. Mine is still vaping hard. Well worth the wait.

Thanks for that, CABBA. Yeah, the bottom coils and most RBAs are the worst. Top coils, like the Kanger T2, not so much, but the principle still holds.

I sent mine in today for repairs and that was one of the issues. Mine also just shuts itself off when pressing the fire button as well. The top cap had a little gap in it and the positive screw was so loose that when I screwed an atty on it it would turn the screw as well resulting in a poor connection and inaccurate resistance readings. I emailed Jon and he responded instantly and told me to send it in and he would rebuild it completely. Hopefully it won't be gone too long because my quality of life will go down while it's away. :D Good thing I have a DNA20 model to get me by until it's return!!

I will add that despite all the negative things that have happened with other people's orders my experience has been great with Jon and Nexgen. I look forward to seeing what they have in store in the future.
