Hello, I'm new to the forum, but I've been vaping on and off for a bit.
I first purchased an e-cig from a vendor booth in my local mall. I was hooked, but then realized it was a rip off after awhile so I went back to analogs until about 5 days ago. First, let me explain why it was a rip off: They sold a single crappy 4081 battery with a cheap charger case for around 40 dollars. They also had prefilled cartomizers for 3.50 a piece. They advertised the batteries as "working all day on a single charge" and the cartos they advertised as "equal to a pack and a half of cigarettes". Now this is a major problem if you ask me, because it turns people off to the whole idea of vaping when they realize the carto only lasts half a day and the battery only lasts around 2 hours and takes just that long to charge. It ends up being an inconvenience and more expensive than smoking analogs.
The reason I went back to trying vaping is because I heard about a certain retailer from South Carolina from a friend.(I don't know if I should say the name of their website since I'm new and I don't want to be considered spammy or whatever) I ordered some juice from them in two flavors. Cappuccino and Carolina Sunset and I fell in love. Even just vaping it in my crappy 4081 and having to charge my battery often is good enough for me. I've been analog free for 5 days! It's amazing.
Now I have some questions. I know most people won't recommend the 510 because of it's battery life and blah blah blah, but I'm pretty set on getting a kit that comes with 2 510 batteries(1 auto, 1 manual), 2 atomizers, and 5 blank cartridges. Now my question is, should I get the one that comes with a PCC with the LED battery meter/charge on the go for 28 dollars or just get a cheap version of the same kit with just a regular usb charger for 20$?
This cheap kit is just going to be used to get me by for the next month or so before I can order something better and more expensive.
Thanks for any input anyone here has. I don't care if you're a veteran or a noob, all opinions are valuable to me. :)

The 510 PCC at Charleston Vaping holds 6 cartos and 2 batteries and works with manuals (which are the only batteries I use)
Smart PCC Charger 510 Ecigcharleston.com in Charleston South Carolina

I've seen a similar one that does not have the notch cut out that allowed manual batteries to slide in.

510's are a bit weak voltage-wise and have very short charge is 180mah (same as a normal RN4081). 510 will be no stronger than RN4081 either. And with slim batteries you are limited to standard resistance atomizers and cartomizers (about 2.5 to 3 ohms single coil). Most 510 and 510-thread big battery/mod users use cartomizers for everyday vaping.

The three pluses for slim 510 are
- the manuals (very well-sealed manuals so you can't kill them with juice leaks, and make it easier to get a good hit every time)
- the wider range of stuff available (though you should stay in the ohms range I listed above)
- the hugest variety of 510-threaded upgrade paths since the majority of fat battery and mod devices are 510-threaded
