Whats good everyone, just introducing myself. I quit smoking the right before i got my first ecig 34 days ago.

I put my newport out, got a ego kit and have not picked up a cig since. In the past 34 days i have went from an
Ego, to an mvp 2, to a provari with a aga t2, to a nemesis with a kayfun. I have learned to build my own coils, how make wicks out of ss and now organic cotton. I have also learned that 34 days ago 18 mg nic was fine, but that it is time to cut it down. I think it is safe to say that i have taken on the vapor full steam ahead. But the biggest thing, is i can breath again, and i feel alot better then i have in a very long time. I had been a pack a day smoker for 20 plus years, and at the small age of 35 i will begin to start adding years back to my life and not taking them away, and i smell a hundred times better, lol, never knew how bad a smoker smells all the time. Altho i have switched one habit for another, i like this habit better, lol. Right now i vape a pineapple, menthol, coloda, sperimint mix. And i will say it tastes like fluffy sweet clouds of pineapple with a splash of coolness. So look out, i am blowing clouds.

Congrats and sounds like you are getting into the "hobby" aspect of vaping

Try the Kayfun on the provari - mine is blowing huge clouds on vamo at 7.5 watts and a 2.1 ohm build with cotton (almost too much throat hit but I am running air flow wide open

and welcome to the ECF

Welcome to ECF, bg. Glad you found us and it is fantastic that you put down the analogs 34 days ago. That is great news. Sounds like you've jumped in with both feet and that the switch from tobacco to vaping is having a positive effect on your health. That is priceless.

I was a menthol smoker and started exclusively with menthol type juices, but after about 2 months, with suggestions from folks in ECF, started trying some non-menthol and non-tobacco flavors. Some I have liked (peach, mango, chocolate chip mint ice cream) and some have been okay (watermelon..tasted kinda artificial and off to me). I've also tried mixing some juices together and that has been interesting.

Hope your vaping journey continues to grow and you continue to share your experience. Thanks for your post. Namaste...and Merry Christmas.

I was recommended to start with a menthol. But on day one i got a tank for each flavor i bought, menthol, apple, a flavor called monkey juice it tastes like a baked good maybe a creme pie of some sort. In the past 34 days i have gotten code red which is okay, orange soda so so taste, strawberry watermelon not to bad, redbull yuck, apple jolly rancher notbad but to much TH, pirates blood pretty good, limeberry tastes like a strong margrita, and pineapple which i cant put down.

bg, you are making the pineapple sound darned good. I may have to add it to the next sample pack I order. I've got kiwi, but haven't tried it yet. I also use one clear for each flavor. Thankfully I have about a dozen Kanger MT3S BCC's that I use and am pleased with. I appreciate your opinions on the flavors you've tried.

Hubby and I are heading in the same direction, bg. We are both getting the ProVari and Kayfun shortly and want to start toying with some rebuilds. I would have never imagined we would get so engrossed with vaping! Funny thing, I work in retail and it took me nearly a month after I quit smoking and actually started vaping (as opposed to the Blu ecigs) to not get an instant sick feeling when I walked past someone who smoked. The smell was horrid.

I wasted money for two years on convenience store cigalikes while researching this obsession trying to find out if it was safe, worth it. I still wound up getting some back up units and variety when I took the plunge. Ego kit, wide variety of clearo/glassomizers, MVP2, Provari, mechs, RBAs RDAs....

Welcome to ECF, Vaping obsession and not smoking.

ccubed, I just happened to mix the pineapple with menthol mountain, and found out that it was very good, so for the past few weeks It is my all day, if I only have one flavor that is it, and I make sure I always have extra, lol.

Jazzman, you are right, I think I mainly smoked just cuz I liked playing wit smoke, lol. many have told me a kayfun was more for taste, but with long open mouth draws, I can blow extreme exhales, and the flavor is insane. lol

nmackan, I am enjoying for sure, that's part of my journey, find what is for me what I like, may not be what the next guy likes, but it is what I like, great thing about it, is its what I like.

lorivanpelt, my pineapple and mountain menthol I am getting from stlvapor on butler hill, a girl named Amanda makes really great juice. but as far as my fav shops, I like the nice selection at 510vapers in imperial lots of mods, lots of good stuff, but to hang out, I am a south sider, so I hands down say vapeone on bates and gravois, them dudes are a riot and good people.

msloud, yea cig smokes recks to all get out that is for sure. now I know everyone likes different, but I really like my kayfun on my nemesis mechanical mod much better, I think I get a lot more flavor. but I do enjoy my provari.

feartx, I pretty much knew going into it I would take a journey of buying things, that is pretty much how I am with anything. I never did like the lil blu type ecigs, but knew once I went with juice that no more newports, and it was on to a better way. plus I like the learning part, the part of people asking whats that, and helping them find what they like. ya know. it is a healthier way to not smoke, plus it is teaching me that helping others is humbleizing.
