I don't know if this helps, but the screw size is 2mm x .4mm (.4mm is the thread pitch). Where I work we have a few of these although they are not cap head types, so there is not much on the head to pinch the wire.

Those screws will fit the negative hole, but they are the same length as the originals - you would want a longer one to grab the most threads as possible.

The Hydra appears to give you a little more room to wrap the coil. Both look great. Thanks for the picts.
The Hydra has more room in width but a shorter center post so less room to work with in height. I razored a tip off of a syringe as an additional washer for the hydra to tighten the nuts up a bit higher on the post. They are both vaping like champs!

Found out by accident that the O rings on these Griffin tanks and top cap are the same size as the FATTY V2 which are 1mm x 10mm and the inside peg takes a 1mm x 4mm. Can only use metric system since these devices are made by metric standards. I did find a 1.5 mm x 10 mm and works great for aligning the top cap hole and keeping the cap from leaks, but too thick for the tanks.

Thanks for the pictures, I have the Griffin love it, I have 3 of the Phoenix atty's love em, I think I will get the Hydra now. What is the next thing, when will you get them, what is it ( I NEED ONE ).
Oh by the way the name you give these RBA's are cool and fit the performance well. When they do a new RBA one a little larger like a 5ml tank call it the Kraken. Release the Kraken

Useful info, thanks. I did the same type thing for my "Phoenesis" and it worked well, but I just stretched on another O-ring (from a drip tip) over them. This info saves me from trucking around to the hardware stores with an atomizer in my pocket, trying O-rings on for size.

From the photos, you may be able to see the 2 threaded holes and how different they appear to be.
The next 2 are the supplied screws. If you look close, you may be able to see how sharp one is and how flat the threads are on the other one.
The long screw in the back is from Radio Shack, they have 2-56 nuts and bolts but they are course threads and we need fine threads. I'm still searching for those puppies.
All in all, it's been interesting to work on the various parts that I have gathered together so far.
And I will for sure keep using Eric as my main supplier, you can't ask for better gear, the best prices, quick shipping and he goes above and beyond customer service.

So my last order was another Griffin but with a clear tank and two clear tank tubes. The stock clear tank Griffin leaked non stop out of the bottom so I don't know what the deal is there. I'm going to have to try one of the other two clear tubes I bought separately and hope they don't leak or try to hunt down some better o rings. I would suggest putting water into the tank first to test for leaks before putting juice in it and wasting precious juice!
