The Saber Touch mod by: VaporMoon.com Is Now Ready!

Well, it took a long time, but it is now here! After testing about 40 different push button switches, and about 100 different prototypes, we've decided that push button switches were not good enough! Those types of switches will fail over time, they can go off accidentally in your pocket, and they are cumbersome. So, we've designed a Touch Activated Switch that will never burn out. It won't go off by accident in your pocket. It just takes a Touch to turn your mod on!

We use 6061 Aircraft Aluminum and Solid Brass caps to construct the Mod. It is Machined locally in Maryland, USA and was designed by Myself, and a bunch of other people including Electrical Engineers.

It comes in two colors: A polished aluminum and a satin black powder coat. Also, you can get each in a 3.7v/6v model and a 5v regulated model. This gives you quite a choice in vaping!

Here is a short YouTube video on the mod... other instructional videos will be on the way, as well as much better photos!

We assemble each one to order, so it takes about 3-5 days for it to ship... sometimes sooner. Also, you get Free USPS Priority Shipping on either choice of the mods.

Here is our card if you should have any questions outside of the forum:

We've made modding a little safer for everyone. I hope you enjoy this mod as much as we do.

Thank you,

Wow...lovely mod, Sir ! I think it's very smooth and elegant looking.

Glad to see you back on the forum and wow...i am amazed at what you brought with you !

The activation of the button has me a bit puzzled....Can you explain how that works a little better ?

Thanks and good luck in your new adventure :)
Well, Hello again to you!
Yes, all you have to do is touch the small little button. By holding the mod, your hand makes the connection... it's really sensitive! I'm really glad, you of all people, like this new mod. It took a whole lot of work. At least that takes care of the accidental activation problem.

And another great thing I didn't mention... If you drag too many times, enough to get the circuit hot, it will shut down and cool off. That solves another problem of batteries overheating!

And, it's nice to be back after the "black out" period!

OK, i'll give ya my 2 cents worth, even though my wife says it's overvalued.

The color idea isn't bad. The brass ends gotta go. Too heavy, too gawdy, and too much work keeping them shiny.

Your video about your revolutionary switch, accomplished nothing, except to confuse the crap outta me. Hold this, push that........:confused:

Your price is too high! A new silver bullet is $85 and is a proven vape monster. Then there's the Chuck, Copper and many more at a much more attractive price point. My favorite PV is a $45 5V box mod, and I own most of the ones I mentioned, and many more.

Just an opinion from an average fella who is starting to reign in the purse strings on some of these mods. Especially unproven new ones which are a 50/50 shot in my book.

No offense intended. Just one's perspective.:)

Very nice design, Sir...Very impressed. I rewatched the video and it answered the questions that i did have.

Does it have a vented bottom cap ? Or does that circuit cutting off eleviate the need for venting ?

I really like the 5v option...6v is too strong for me, but im loving the 5v action.

If you go to my site, you will see that it has 2 vents, one on each side for the batteries. Also, the 6v is also a 3.7v. The 5v is just 5v.

Wing: The video did answer some of my questions about the switch...although i have to admit, im clueless about such things.

As for the price....Yeah, its a bit pricey...but believe me...I've paid much more for other devices.

Bottom line is...We all like what we like individually...and most will pay for a more sleeker design than just a regular looking item.

It's all about choices...and what someone else wants, I may not want.

ANyways...Sir..wishing you all the success in the world.

Thanks. My next video, I will show closer shots of the touch switch and how it works, and show just how much vapor these mods really do produce!
I'm just horrible in front of the camera!

Nice looking device, Sir Lawrence. Best of luck to you.

Would it be possible to post a pic of the sabre with an 18650 battery side by side? I'm trying to get a sense of the unit's length. Or, just posting the dimensions would be a big help as well.

Thank you.
Hi Richie G, my next YouTube video, which will be showing closeups, if you don't mind my ugly mug... I will show the Saber Touch held up next to an 18650 battery. But for now, to give you an idea of size, it is about the same diameter as the SB and about 3/8" taller, to compensate for the circuits. Hope that helps.
Sir

Interesting concept with the button. I've often wondered why we haven't seen something like this used previously.........

Best of luck.
Thanks Elendil. It took a long time to develop it, and it's hard to make it work with so many different types of voltage batteries. I think the reason no one has used this type of switch before is because of the time involved with production. I think there are some mods out there that use something similar... I know of one that runs $159 and can only use 3.7v. It is a pretty complicated process. I'm glad you like the idea.
Sir
