I haven't had much success with my Kanger bottom coils. They always flood and gurgle on me. Are these more or less likely to do so?

Less.
Because Turtle says so.

Nothing works the same for everyone. The ONLY way to find out what works for you is to try it.

VISION X.Jet MiniNova/Nova/Spider Kit 2.0/3.5ml Bottom Dual Coil tank
(this product listing is very similar to the Mini Nova and Spider listings so that info will not be repeated here)

Introducing the Vision X.Jet Bottom Dual Coil Mega Nova 3.5ml Tank. This has all of the appearance of a regular top coil Nova tank and can even use the same replacement Poly tubes. The X.Jet has a removable 510 drip tip which can be exchanged for your own 510 drip tip.

You fill/refill the X.Jet by unscrewing from your PV and turn upside down. You then fill with your juice up to the suggested MAX juice line gradation on the tank tube.

We have been very pleased with our testing of the unit. The dual coils provide marvelous vapor and excellent taste. We recommend a dry pull (vape without firing the button once or twice) when first using and occasionally as using. Because it is a bottom coil design there should be no wicking issues and also this unit has proven to be very leak proof. Also it is recommended to use causal easy pulls to get the best results instead of a sharp quick vape.

There are no exposed wicks emanating the bottom dual coil heads. Juice is absorbed through an absorption sheet and fed into inner short wicks. When first using the unit allow it to soak in for about 2 minutes for best results.

The Vision X.Jet line is very similar to the Aspire BDC line and can actually use those replaceable heads also.

What You Receive in our Vision X.Jet Nova Kit:
  • One complete X.Jet 3.5ml Nova Unit with top cap with built in air stem, base, installed 1.8 ohm X.Jet dual coil head (etched) and Nova poly tube (you can use all standard Nova 3.5ml tubes with the X.Jet)
  • Two additional spare dual coil heads - 1.8 ohm and 2.1 ohm (all X.Jet heads are etched with resistance)
  • Removable 510 Drip Tip - you can use your own if you wish!
  • Packaged nicely in its own presentation box with cutouts for all components. The outside of the box lists its many advantages.

While it may be apparent you can change out the base of this unit with other Nova tanks in case one gets damaged, we actually have not been able to verify at this time. Feel free to relate your experiences in our forum at GotVapes - we all would love your feedback.

Oh, I understand that. It's just nice to get some feedback from people that tried both before taking the plunge, especially if they had similar experiences.

I'm loving the Aspire heads. No gurgles, no floods, no leaks, long life, great taste and vapor. (I'm not a TH guy, I'm an easy on the throat guy.)

You'll like 'em, or I'll get a Turtle to buy them away from you. Plunge away!

I have to say that the x.jet heads clearly outperform the aspire ones. Flavor comes through much better. No dry hits, no muted flavor at all. This may just be the best clearomizer ever made.

I have to agree. I just got my Spider yesterday. After rinsing and drying it, I filled it up last night. The taste is very clean, no dry hits, and lots of vapor. It also looks very sharp on my Mega SLB V3 in stainless!

i'm waiting on my first davide and protank from a co-op, so can't compare to those yet. And I had to dig out an ego from my vapeaggedon stash of emergency backups to try this :)

i'll send you a 510 to ego adapter if you need one :) I just like the looks of this for work instead of the groove or "the device that must not be mentioned' :)

eta: and yes, I think the dual coil makes a big difference in the taste...
