Hey ECF goers! I've been vaping for about 3 months, still hooked on analogs and trying to slow down...I think the issue I was experiencing is one many others have:going for something that tastes like an actual cigarette. Of course, no vapor can come too close to the taste of smoke, so upon being dissatisfied and not getting was i was looking for, I began buying packs again. Not to say my Joye Ego didn't help me ween down, because it did...however, I've began to adopt a new mindset after tasting a peach e-liquid a buddy of mine has. Before this i had only tried generic, mish-mashed non-tobacco flavors and came to the conclusion that most tasted terrible or were too feminine for me. But now I've begun to stop worrying about what my Ego couldnt give me tastewise that an analog could, and started thinking about what flavors an ecig could offer that an analog couldn't...I considered that a small breakthrough. Anyways, enough about me... I was wondering if anyone knew a site that offers very inexpensive atomizers and filters, or even just a reliable site for either...don't think this was the right place to post but this is the only place i could.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum. I am new here as well. I bought my stuff last night from Liberty Flights ( I am in no way associated with this site, or represent it in any way, shape, or form) They had great prices and the site was easy to navigate. They also took PayPal which was a big deal for me! Right now they have a 20% off sale, Just make sure to click the box in the top left corner! Shipping is only $3. I am overall very satisfied with the deals I have got in the last 24 hours, Thanks to this site.
Also Gourmet Vapor is having a 60% off sale on there e-liquids (again I am not associated with this site in any way), just found that it was a heck of a deal to try some flavors. Good luck and keep with it!!!

Eric, this was the right place for you to post this. It wonderful that you came to realize that flavor variety is the one of the best things about vaping! If you think that some flavors are "too feminine" remember that cigars can be flavored with blueberry, peach, strawberry and several other flavors. The eGo is shaped like a cigar, especially if you use the Mega atomizers. It's just a big flavored cigar that doesn't use tobacco! If you're still struggling with smoking, don't knock yourself too hard. Plenty of people here have had or still have the same problem. I'm not sure what nic level you're using, but maybe if you're using 18mg or lower you could bump it up just a little and see if that takes care of your cravings. I can't tell that will definitely work, but it did work for me.

Don't be afraid to try different flavors. It really doesn't have anything to do with masculinity. Lots of the guys vape peach, caramel, blueberry...you name it. Who cares? I say if it tastes good, vape it!

Heaven Gifts sells Joye 510 atomizers for $5.00 and cartomizers for $1.30.

Joye 510 spare parts Heaven Gifts

not to knock your suggestion but I believe that as Americans we should buy in America when you can,(let's keep America business going)not to mention usually with shipping costs from China it'll cost you more and then there is the month or more wait.I'm not trying to offend anyone, this is just my opinion, and I'm sure we all know the old saying about opinions

I just recently converted from cartomizers to atomizers, still have many atomizers to test but my next order will probably be from greenhouseone, I think they got the cheapest out there, they even have a dedicated section here : Greenhouse One

It's true no flavor from an ecig can perfectly reproduce the taste of an analog and that is a good thing, those nasty analogs taste so bad, who would want to smoke 'em again, tropical punch from lorann is my favorite one :p

Lol, ordered my ego from liberty and figured out that 60% gourmetvapor sale earlier today. Gourmetvapor is definitely doing it for me right now with 5 ml bottles of custom flavor for $2-3
Thank you all for such quick input! This forum seems to have a much faster and more helpful response rate than any other I've visited...@ womenofheart- I'm currently using the 24 mg strength, thanks for the tip anyways...i think the extremely high amount f nicotine in my analog of choice(newport) is what's responsible. This being said, i think going from newport smoke to vapor is a huge step up healthwise

It is a huge step and it works! Since you're already vaping a high nic level, then tapering off the analogs is the best way to go. Don't push yourself. Lots of people vape and still smoke the occasional analog. The import thing is cutting them down, which seems to just happen when you start vaping. You've made the switch for the most part and that's what counts!

I found this forum to be the most helpful, responsive and supportive out of any others I've visited. There's always someone here to answer questions or just give you support. That's why I joined and that's why I stay.

Hi Eric, I started vaping about a month ago and come here often for my education. I'm also still hooked on analogs but I have cut down quite a bit. I also found some good advice on here about not trying to find a good tobacco flavor but instead find a flavor thats good. I started with the prosmoke starter kit and I was wondering how you like the Joye. I have some e-juice ordered and I'm hoping this helps. There seems to be alot of good reviews on vaperite.com and I also order some juice from Johnson Creek. I know one thing for sure and that is this is probably the best chance I've had at getting rid of the analogs and I have made up my mind I'm not going to give up until I do!

It was just peach from gourmetvapor, 20pg 80vg, double flavor. I strongly recommend it especially with the sale gourmet vapor is having...$2.32 for a 5 ml double flavor?!? YES.

Gourmet Vapor Peaches & Cream is a heavenly treat.

To all the new members that have posted in this thread -

In the land of no hills and red dirt
AVEjuice in Lawton, Oklahoma has some pretty darned good mixes. Their Havana Gold mixture does have a very good cigar taste and feel, especially when vaping at high voltage.

My advice to new vapers is to a) not force it, and b) to simply make a commitment to take one or two vapes before lighting an analog. When my kids were younger, I didn't tell them that they couldn't order soft drinks in restaurants, but did insist that they had to drink a full glass of ice water first. Half the time, they didn't want the sugared stuff afterwards.
