Introduction and quick question about itaste vv v3.0

Hey all, just got my v3.0 and loving it! Question about charging...

When I plug it in, it keeps flashing from green to orange to red constantly. In a cycle. When I very first put it on the charger it stayed lit green, which I believe means that it's charging. But what does that cycle mean? Owner's manual is that informative regarding charging, or I missed it, but idk what it means.

Basically it will be lit till fully charged. When you are using the battery there are 3 different colors Green, meaning its mostly charged, Orange which means its about half life left and red meaning youve got about 1-2 hits till it dies. Try to avoid discharging your battery all the way to the "Red" cycle because when you have your battery at that low of power it puts strain on it and wont be charged back up to as high. What I found when I had one at orange it was almost dead anyways. Hope this helps

I'd suggest you make sure it's turned off before you plug it in. Mine flashes and then stays green until it's fully charged.

I have the VV and it doesn't cycle except when I turn it off and on. It will light up red, orange or green while charging but that is only an indication of how charged or not it is. I've only had mine for a few weeks so I don't know that much but I wonder if you got a defective unit?

It vapes fine though. But I literally just got it a few hours ago.

Is it cold ? Like it sat in a mailbox outside all day? Don't know if that would have an effect or not. I've had mine a couple weeks and it only flashes like that when I plug the charger in.

You might check the usb tip on the charging cable, make sure it isn't oxidized or something to keep it from making good contact.

Got another cable/charger combo you could try ?

Charging from computer or wall outlet ?

It's plugged in to the wall via usb. When I first got it I plugged it in and it was solid green. I took it off before the light turned off(fully charged) because I wanted to vape it. AFter that, when I put it on the charger, it flashes 1 red, 1 orange, 3 green and repeats. But it ONLY does that when it's on the charger. When it's off, it hits great, and when I press the button to vape it's green. Everything else seems normal.

No other charger currently

The only thing I can find is this.

I think I would vape with it, leave it on the charger for a few hours and see what happens. You can vape with it while it is charging, just takes a little longer for it to reach full charge.

Thank you. So this "light show" only happens when it's plugged in to a wall outlet. When I plug it into my computer via just USB, it seems to be charging fine with a solid green light( which I understand means charging).

I'm thinking it's either a problem with the wall charger, OR maybe that's how it's supposed to be when plugged into the wall??

I get solid green plugged into the wall or USB. Stick with the usb till you can find another wall wart and see what happens. When it is fully charged, the green light will go out. You can vape with it while it's charging.

Is the wall charger the one that came with it from Innokin ?

Welcome to the forum, KCFD. I just got a vv yesterday, and when I put it on the charger, it goes through the light show once, quickly, and then goes solid green while it charges (I've never had it below green... maybe it would be yellow or red for a while if it had discharged more). Sounds to me like it's not making solid contact somewhere along the line... IDK much about it, but seems like an issue with the charger, the cable or the connections. Hopefully you bought from a dealer that will make good if there's a problem.

Yes, it's the charger form innokin. I'm going to try another outlet, could just be the extension cord I'm using.

Shipped and delivered super quick, great price, and I've called them 3 times tonight alone about this issue and they answer everytime and assure me that regardless, it'll be taken care of.
