Introduction myself

Hallo to all,

There are 3 parts of history of of my touching e-cig.

First was at moment, when was e-cig first seen on the market in my country. It was around 2006-2007, that e-cig was cigar-like, it was big, expensive and almost all-burn-taste, leaking, horribly expensive (around 150USD I spent). I was sooo disapointed, I stoped to use it just after less than one week...

Second, I tried it again, expecting better hardware in vaping - that was around 2010 or so. I purchased some EGO-W and EGO-T and yes, it was a lot better. BUT, I smoked around 40pcs of regulars, and EGOs did not give me enough vape, hit and functionality to "make me good". So I quited also - back to regulars

Third, and I hope last try, was jan.30th 2013, and I wanted something good and powerfullll. I decidet to Vamo V2 and JKanger Protank 3. On the power side, I was impressed. I smoked my LAST cigarette just behind vaping store and from that moment I was SURE, I quited smoking. On the side of functionality, Protank 3 sometimes leaked, but I managed it by adding some cotton on the wick...

... after that I started to buying more stuff, like Ismokas, Visions, Sigeleis Legends, Aerotanks, Aerotanks with adapter to Aspire (small non-Nautilus ones) coil adapters, Kayfuns, Taifun, Subtank... what I want to say, I am VERY happy and grateful, that I could change smoking to vaping, because a lot of my problems (smel, cough, breath) are gone.

I wish to ALL to have experience AT LEAST like me and for those, who hesitate, I recomend for example Sigelei Legend V2 with Kanger Aerotank V2 for begining. Sorry for my English, I am in hurry, have a nice time to all... and Happy New Year and good vape to the future! Michal. :)

Happy New Year and welcome to ECF
Congrats on quitting, and welcome to vaping. Misconception is that it will cost you less, not entirely true actually as it becomes a hobby after a while. Chasing the "Perfect Vape" can be costly but well worth the journey in the end.
I started out on a Blu myself, then went straight to an eGo, Picked up the Volcano VW/VV first day it came out, went to Vamo next all the time using a 306 hybrid set-up until RDA's came affordable (us old timers in this used to bust out the ye ole soldering iron and rebuild 306's from scratch back then).

The industry has progressed beyond even my wildest dreams, new ideas, concepts and atomizers coming out bi-weekly it would seem. I'd say read up on it and visit your local B&M store vape meet, the curious often times have the most fun in the vaping community.

Welcome and congrats again.

Sincerely,
Midnight

Welcome to ECF, mickielli!
Glad to see that you didn't give up after your first two tries! As others have said, your english is nothing to apologize for - it's very good!

Anyway, you'll find lots of friendly, helpful folks here in the forum, so if you have any questions, just let us know!

Happy Vaping and Happy New Year!

Welcome and congrats on 2 years of Vaping!

I started with blu in 2011... It wasn't great, but my habit was only about half a pack a day. I needed to quit because of the culture I was trying to get a job in, smoking could have limited my options. I quit smoking immediately, and quit blu after a month or two because it was such a hassle for something that wasn't terribly satisfying... Kept me from being a complete ....... when quitting cigarettes though, so it served its purpose.
I picked up an ego with EVOD and kanger protank 2s back in August 2013. After moving to a place where smoking was very prevalent, with the stress of moving, and moving in with a smoker, I craved a cigarette and knew blu wouldn't cut it. I picked up the ego setup after a solid week of research on devices.
In October 2013 I got a SiD (zmax...) and got into rebuilding with kayfun and trident clones.
I got a hand full of RDAs since then. I got a hana clone and 4nine clone in July and a Reo in earlyDecember.
I started mixing my own juice this October and have a few all day vapes (cheap at like $10 for 120mls!) I still buy juice occasionally, but it's much cheaper this way :)
I started at 12 mg nic in my ego, backed down to 6 when I started rebuilding, now I'm down to 2 or 3, but occasionally I'll do 6 if I'm drinking or having a rough day.
Since picking up my ego, I think I've spent around 2500 including juice, batteries, etc... ALL vape gear... So... $6 / day... A pack a day habit! Lol... But I guess there are other costs with smoking like more expensive health insurance :)

Oh my! So many greetings from you guys, thanks!
I have one mistake in my 1st post. My third try was not Jan2013, but Jan2014? :) So it will be 1 year soon I am vaping...
... and I started with 18mg, fast moving to 12mg. Now I am on 6mg last 4 months. I love making my own tastes by bases and aroma... wow
So great vape to all! :)

Welcome! Your English is perfectly understandable. ....no need to apologize. I'm a huge fan of the firearms your country produces :D
Hey! You mean ČZ? (CZ) - In our country it is another situation, you can get firearm only after quite hard tests and it is not common to carry it. People are not used to... But, it comes from history...
Maybe it would be less and less people in our country in case everybody is carrying firearm... (to understand - Czech humor is something special)... :)
Anyway, I love US, because I was there several times on concert tour (I am musician). We went by car around US by one month, 20 concerts, from Atlanta, Alabama, Mississippi, through Texas, New Mexico, (by plane to California), Minnesota, up to International Falls, down to Ohio, Virginias, Carolinas, Florida, hey, I saw whole your country and I have to say - be proud of the fascination nature, each state has some great places, as well as people. I wrote this, becuse I saw, lot of people here are from US. So to them - WOW. I met a lot of great people there.
I mean, people are nice in whole world, even vapers!!!! :toast:

Yes, of course, I was on four tours in US untill now - 2007,2008, 2010 and 2012, but now we stopped somehow comunication with our agency in NY. But, something is on the way, so I think I will post, when it will be actual. It would be very nice to have some friends-vapers on the concert! Anyway - I play classical music in string quartet and filharmony... to be specific.

Now I am enjoying my subtank with 1.3 Ohm coil with some good cotton in it. Subtank is sitting on my Sigelei legend V2, I plan to buy some more powerfull stuff, BUT - now I ordered SMOK E-pipe II, I love the look of it, looking forward, so nice device.

Have a great day all. :)
