Hi everyone...Just wanted to introduce myself.

Been vaping for about 4 months now and I'm a vaper for life.

I started with a crappy 808 kit but have moved onto a Prodigy, but once I realized what's going on I'm gonna me making my own mods. Primarily made of copper and aluminum and I plan on doing some sci-fi inspired mods, I'll post more in the modders forums. I've got a degree in EE and look forward to being a part of the community.

Thank you all so much for providing a place to hang out and feel like a member !

welcome to the ecf grumpus, can never have too many engineers. if you haven't already make sure to check out the threads on he Genesis atty,Lotta good stuff goin on there.

I've looked at it and I'm in love with it. At the heart of what we do is very simple. Press a button something heats up. Simple by all regards. We're not inventing the wheel here, maybe reinventing.

I personally think somethings are just over thought. I've looked at several very huge selling mods and they lack some very basic principles. Maybe they sell like crazy but ultimately aren't worth the money spent versus the return. The same as BestBuy, ignorance is what sells. The dumber the customer the more profits you can make. I'd like to think that the more educated customers are the likely they'll spend the proper amount of money on what they need and not overspend on something they don't understand.

I think there is a real undercurrent of people who vape that feel the same way.

How much does engineering cost? How much does machining cost? Tough to answer but it's not what is currently available. It can be done better for lower cost. It's fair to offer a good product for a fair price. We're not there yet, but someday I hope we will be.

If at some point I decide to sell or offer whatever it is I make, it will be extremely affordable for anyone. Even if I made a buck or 2 here and there I'm not trying to feed a 3rd world country, just an extremely modest fee. All things considered I'd prolly do alot of things free. That's just me. Education is far more important. Helping a few peoples is worth the time and effort.
