Hello! My name is Teresa, and I smoked off and on started at age 11. My vaping journey actually started with the Blu cig-a-likes and then I "upgraded" to a Voodoo pen and that nasty gas station juice. IN February 2015, I bought my first REAL vaping set up - a Tesla Corsair Sea Raider mech and a Tugboat RDA.

I never looked back!

I've seen bought/collected probably 12 different mech mods (most of which I have PIF'd to friends who want to stop smoking and start vaping), the unregulated Tesla Invader II box, an iStick 50w, IPV Mini II, and 2 Sigelei 150w.

My RDA collection is thriving with a decent selection of clones and authentics, but my favorite - by far - is my authentic Compvape Twisted Messes which I was lucky enough to find at my local shop for $30. (Who can pass up a deal like that?)

In my spare time lately, I've started a vaping blog which includes educational posts and reviews (all juice reviews thus far, but I'm working up to hardware and vendor reviews as well). Starting this Friday (July 10th), I will also be posting interviews with the owners of e-juice companies.

I'm always learning and always willing to help others put down the analogs and start vaping.

There's only 3 vape shops in my immediate area - one is a great place that really pays attention to their customers; another is a West Coast chain; and the other is a place that has potential, but only time will tell.

However, in Anchorage (about 400 miles away from me), there's like 20 different B&M stores. So there's gotta be a ton of vapers in the state to support that.

I actually just filled out the form to be able to post links to my blog so, fingers crossed, I may be able to link to it soon. You might be able to find the link if you look at my profile though.

Wow! Sounds like you jumped into the deep end of the vaping pool by all the gear you bought!

Welcome to ECF!

Yeah, when I decide to do something, I generally jump right in with both feet. For me, though, vaping wasn't so much about quitting smoking as it was stress reduction and, incredibly enough, weight loss (I know it sounds strange, but I've lost about 32lbs since I started vaping without really changing anything else.) Once I got that first mech mod and RDA - and found out there were bigger and better mods and RDAs out there - I had to expand on my collection. I still have my Corsair Sea Raider; I have the stainless JP2 Dragon mech I bought; a purple Kamry Robot V and a green Kamry Robot II; and a black Hammer mod (I was never really thrilled with it though). I've PIF'd a black Dragon, a Stingray, a green Tugboat, a purple Skyline, a red Skyline, and a couple others (as far as mech mods go!)

Welcome, Far North ! :) I recently checked Fairbanks for vape shops and was pleased to find two more had been added since I was up there last July visiting my dau. and her family. Also, you might want to "bone up" on what politics are happening around vaping in AK. Check out CASAA.org to find out the latest on tests/studies and politics. Hours of learning can be spent there. :)
