Hey All,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I go by Ralfie, and while not completely new to vaping, I am new to RDAs and mixing my own juice. I tried the early e-cigs almost 10 years ago and unfortunately went back to analogs. A few years ago I spent the money for a box mod and tank, which then turned into a hobby (obsession). Soon afterwards i found a great local shop making their own versions of popular flavors at a decent price. It has been about a year since I've had an actual cigarette, and at this point don't miss them at all. I recently got a simple but good quality RDA, and am muddling my way through making my own coils. I'm addition to the initial Kanger, I have Wismec and Vaporesso mods, with a couple of Aspire tanks to mix and match with the originals. One tank is the Cleito, which is great but coils are a bit pricey. I also have a squonk box and a very new Troll RDA. Favorite flavors are made by the local vape shop, and consist of Tigers Blood, Blackbeard and a local RY4 variant.

Today I got a nice big box from Nicotine River with everything I need to start mixing my own juice. That and my interest in building coils is what led me to join this forum. When I've had questions about anything, the answers nearly always come from forum posts. From what I've been reading, everyone here is willing to share their knowledge and opinions without making people feel stupid for asking.

My apologies for turning my introduction post into a full length novel. :)

Welcome and glad you joined.
I believe the Nicotine River starter kit to be one of the better ones. Good show.
The DIY information below should go a long way to get you established with the knowledge required.

Brother Bob,

Thank you for the links! I am needing as much information as I can get when it comes to mixing. This week I got the Coil Master kit, which makes building coils WAY easier. I was using the drill bit method, which for me gave inconsistent results at best. With the kit I also got a Digiflavor Drop RDA, which I am very happy with. I get so much more vapor from the low ohm RDAs, one of my first recipes will need to be a lower nicotine version of RY4, Hobbes Blood or Sweet Tobacco.
