Hello, everyone!

I have stopped and relapsed with smoking for years. Before my husband deployed for the second time, I started looking into vaping and convinced him that we need to try it-he agreed that he would. That was 2010. I found Wicked and quickly bought kits, bought e-juice from Highbrow, sent a huge care package to him and started vaping. I stuck with it, he had issues quitting.
Eventually, he quit in 2014 and just vaped and we realized we had been getting crappy kits, cloned batteries-you name it. I just could not believe I spent so much money on Aspire, Vision, Kangertech and it was all fake. One even blew up in my hand.
Now we are at the point that we want to lower our mg levels and move on to Sub Ohm. We just bought an Aspire to try last week, I am still using an Aspire variable...So much to learn, we want to make our own e-juice and just learn everything that we can about building coils, e-juice, batteries, etc.
Eventually get down to 0 mg.

So, that about sums it up!

First, welcome and thank your husband for his service (and thank you as well, military spouse has got to be the hardest job in the world).

Lots of good info here, I highly recommend reading the DIY juice forum and getting some nicotine stocked up (as well as some devices) before the FDA has their way.

I only recently started vaping after almost three decades of a pack a day smoking habit. I finally got my first mod a couple days ago (had been using one of the pen starter kits before). I gotta say I'm liking this. My wife got me the Hammer mechanical mod by OEM. I can take either the 18350, 18500, or 18650 battery. I prefer, for aesthetic reasons, the 18350 configuration. only problem I'm having, due to being new to vaping, is finding a 18350 battery that will hold a charge long (I vape heavily just like I smoked).

Still, I love my mod. I seriously doubt I'll get anything else... maybe a seconf hammer mod just in case.
