I've been looking at these two, each with pros and cons. I guess the most important to me (so long as it is safe) is how it feels in the hand. However, if safety comes into play then the safer mod is probably the better choice than the feel. Here they are:

$30.66 Tesla Invader II Wood Mechanical Box Mod - 2*18650 / brown at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$27.11 Box Style 2*18650 Mechanical Mod - black wood at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The Tesla Invader II has a a Mosfet (I think). I have read the authentic does but you never know I guess in regards to the clones. It also has the floating 510 pin which is always makes for a good fit with atty's.

The Box Style 2...no floating pin and I am reading most likely has dual diodes vs. the Mosfet.

If one is clearly a superior box mod to the other, I suppose that would be the wiser choice. However if the differences are really not so far apart in regards to safety I would probably be happier in the long run with the better fit and feel in hand which I figure mine is an average size. I don't have a small hand and not really a big hand either...right there in the middle I guess. I know safety is dependent upon what you're doing so my typically use would be somewhere between .4Ω to .8Ω using a pair of Sony VTC4s.

Any opinions appreciated, thanks.

I decided to go with the Invader II. Found a US vendor in FLA slightly cheaper the retail price than FT. With the shipping only a few dollars more than FT. Worth the extra few dollars to avoid the 30-40 day typical FT wait. I should probably stay away from it, I have read about some folks having firing button issues and really don't need another unregulated device, but you get than itch if you know what I mean.

Got it a few days ago and working fine. Quick shipping from that FLA vendor where I purchased, 2 or 3 days Priority Mail. Not uncomfortable for me to hold, but it is a fairly large Mod. Great as a desk top device. Every Atty/tank I have tried on this works fine. The spring loaded 510 connector is a plus. No rough edges and the magnetic back door has a good cut and fit. The wood is a little dirty and dry but not an issue. Cleans up very nicely. I am using 100% pure Chinese Tung Oil. Up to about 2 coats so far and will probably do about 6 coats total. Only need a few drops on a lint-free cloth to cover the unit for each coat and rub it in well. It's looking good IMO!
