Okay, so this is more of a funny musing rather than a well-thought out idea.

In a conversation, I was told "I would buy an ipod touch before I bought an e-cigarette", and I replied with "but you can't smoke an iPod!" and we giggled and moved on...

...but then I got to thinking that it might be possible! I'm not at all capable in electronics without diagrams and instructions, but since you guys are modders, you'd know best about voltage and amps and crap like that. :)

Is it realistic to think that an attachment could be made for an iPod to use it's battery and take a carto? Is there already "an app for that"? I think it's hilarious and I would try it at least once. :p

Well according to Yahoo answers (haha) someone seems pretty certain that "the battery is 3.7 volts and the current is about 800 mA or 0.8 Amps".

That sounds similarish to an ecig battery, to me...a luddite. :) I'm almost determined to try to make some less crazy non e-cig attachment just to see how it works.

Edit: Okay, I reread that and I don't know that it's an iPod touch at all. An iPod touch replacement battery online says it's "3.7 volts 980 mAh, Lithium Polymer"
