I run my IPV Mini 30w between 20-25 watts on average, perhaps 10-12ml of liquid per day. Need a spare battery to go a full day. I have three in rotation, and always bring a spare with me to work for the drive home.

The IPV3 uses dual batteries, and even on a bad day, it will last a full day, changing batteries either at night or in the morning. If its run above 30watts - it won't make it a full day. I only use it at home now in the evenings - got tired of carrying that brick around - so it will make it 3-4 days with this more moderate use.

I'm using re-wrapped LG HE2 2500mAh batteries.

Your mileage may vary depending on how much you use it, and at what power levels.

I was looking at DNA40s but was worried that it wouldnt be enough power so I've been eyeballing the high watt mods and saving my pennies as I go along. I'll do more research on the DNA40 then. I wasnt too familiar with using Ni200, but seems like a worthwhile venture.
I have both a HANA MODZ DNA 40 V4D and 70w IPV2S. My iPV packs a bigger punch but I use my DNA 40 a whole lot more. If I had one gripe about the iPV though, it would be the battery life.

I have an IPV mini 2 and vape at about 20 watts on a subohm coil. It lasts me most of the day with moderate/heavy usage. I find myself changing the battery at night. I have two batteries (one always charged ready to go) and this works out for me. If you're vaping 40, 50, 60 watts, your mileage will vary. Maybe half a day at those wattages.

If battery life is your main concern and you feel like you will be blowing through batteries at high wattages, then a dual 18650 mod like the Sigelei is probably better.

I have the Mini2 as well as the original Mini. I have 6 batteries I use in rotation, which I charge in a separate charger. You can charge with the battery in the device, but I prefer NOT to do that (unless I'm in a pinch). I save my harder subohmming for my iStick 50, which is a dual battery unit.

I'm pleased with the iPV Minis - I'm guessing you will be too.

Iv'e been vaping on the IPV for a week now and I really enjoy it. Granted it the first box mod I have ever purchased I have used friends(Sigelei 150 watt, IPV 2, etc) and in my opnion I like the IPV mini 2 better. Im currently using a dual twisted 28 guage macro coil with 7 wraps at 0.7 ohms on the Derringer and for me the batter lasts all day at 37.5 watts.

Which batter(ry) are you using with it KingCloudz? I have Sony vtc 4's and need to change it once or even twice a day!! Maybe they are duds or fakes as I never had this with using mechs and some other vtc's I got from a b&m. These last 2 I got from Amazon but will be using RTS or Illumin in future.

Just received this 70 watt mini yesterday, and noticed that when I plug it into usb to charge the unit gets hot. Is this normal?
thanks

It would be normal for it to get warm. I have had mine for over a month and use the USB charger. I haven't noticed it get hot. But I just plug it in and go to bed. I'll plug it in and check on it tonight.

I researched for way too long and decided on the IPV mini v2. Form factor is important to me, as is a high wattage ceiling. Honestly, I really didn't want a box mod at all, nor did I want built-in batteries or a 50W ceiling. It seemed to be the most compact, versatile, durable, and reliable device within my specifications. For $65 shipped from SweetVapes, I am content.

Like many others, I bought a carbon fiber wrap for it to reduce the chance of accidental drops. VaporSkinz has a 20% coupon code active.

If I was open to a box mod, I would get the Sigelei 50/100W+/150 based on my size and wattage preferences. VapeRoyalty had some nice models, like a blue Oni edition.

Hope this helps! Cheers! :vapor:

I just bought ipv mini 2 yesterday with the arctic tank. My battery is going pretty quick since the coils are .2 or .5 both recommended at 30w minimum. The .2 coil performs best at 40-70w and the .5 at 35-55w... These are dual coils. As soon as the single coils come out for this tank I wanna give them a try since I can run them at probably 20w with good performance. But these double coils really under perform at anything under 30w, hence short battery life...

But with that being said I love this device and the arctic tank with .2 coils running at 60w is a lung buster with insane clouds.

Only thing I don't like is this thing feels like a loaded weapon in my pocket. Much bigger & heavier than my Ego one. I'll probably mostly use this at home and take the ego one out with me.

I am looking at getting the 70 watt as my everyday PV, but it does seem a little big to carry around. I'm a commuter, so it makes a difference. But the thing seems to be quality, not many bad reviews and you can get one with a new set of batteries from 75-85 bucks. Not bad for 70 watts. I just think Eleaf and a lot of the cheaper smaller box devices are made cheaply and poorly. This thing looks money. Someone encourage me!

got mine today, I fink it's Smexy. I've not had it long enough to see how long a battery lasts but I don't use very high wattage usually and it has a mini usb charging port so it can be used as a passthrough.

That seems like it would work! Lemme tell you commuting by train sucks. Can't just leave things in your car, need to be careful with things like glass tanks, etc. So smaller is good and that packs enough power I would think for me. Why does everyone say to only charge with the USB if you absolutely have to? Just because of speed? I guess I could get an external but its just kind of another clunky thing to leave around that I have to keep the dog away from.

I am considering purchasing the IPV Mini 70W. I am concerned about the battery life of this device. I see that it only uses one 18650 battery which makes me think I may have to recharge every couple hours. If someone that has this device could provide some feed back I would appreciate it.
Thanks

Well you should consider buying the ipv mini 3, its really awesome.. yea it does depend on you usage but generally ots working cool for one full day... in fact i.could go longer but I usually charge mine at nights or early morning so tat it will last me a full day... by the way I am also a heavy vaper... so watever just vape on brader... hehehe cool huh.. you better consider getting it. However i dont like the IPV4 cuz its too bulky and huge.. though I heard its kinda good but the IPV3 is much better than IPV4. I am seriously gonna just maintain with my ipvmini2.. Its just awesome and cool..
