Ya its not the best, but i would say its neutral. Not a pro or con. I rarely have to struggle putting it on, occasionaly the 1st thread is a pain, but after that its smooth as most. Taking it off is easy as can be.

We have to realize that Chinese QC isnt the best so something on yours could be perfect and crap on mine and vice versa.

yea true it would be better if it had a cap like the SX that used a coin is thicker so can have better threading than the thin chrome one it has. But then some would complain you have to keep a nickle handy to change bats

I thought about getting some sort of textured paint or something Its a beater work mod for me. I dont like peeling off the covers to change the battery. I guess I could always cut that part of the cover away good Idea Ill check in to that

Seen these cases at any retailers yet? I pretty much avoid taking either of my mini's out because 1) I don't like carrying spare batteries and 2) I know they have a reputation for flaky paint and somehow I have deceived myself into thinking that my "Goat edition" Mini 2 is somehow more valuable then a comparable goatless version.

The auto-fire hazard was a result of a mobile charging feature. That "feature" was removed in the version 2.

you are correct it has a goat graphics that costs about 1 one hundredth of a cent more Vs the standard IPV logo ;-)

Yes, the v1 uses the 130 (I think), while v2 is the 330 Yihi chip.
