You're gonna wanna set the wattage according to the resistance of your coil. That's the nice thing about having a variable wattage device, you don't have to pick a resistance according to the voltages you're going to be firing at. There's probably a general range (assuming you're on a 1.2-1.8 ohm coil), probably between 8 and 12 watts should be fine.

But really, the best way to find out is to just test it yourself! Start at the lowest wattage setting and slowly ramp up, taking puffs as you normally would, until you get to a wattage that's enjoyable for you. If you are burning your wicking material/vaping at too high of a wattage, you'll DEFINITELY taste it. It's pretty tough to miss (as it tastes narsty). You're just looking for the spot that's enjoyable to you. This may be higher or lower than the average vaper, but basically as long as you like it (and you're not burning your juice/coils all the time) there is no "wrong" spot.

I've found a general starting point is around 8 watts. Up or down from there, according to what tastes best for you.
