IPV Mini v1 - Scrambled/Flickering Screen

The Screen flickers and shows scrambled symbols. Sometimes the information such as ohms and wattage will be just barely visible but only when I'm firing the device. Other times the screen won't come on at all. Whatever the screen displays it usually always goes blank the second I let go of the fire button. It takes me about 10 minutes to change the wattage successfully...

I have tried opening it up to check for a fault and though I don't know what I am doing, I can see that no wires are loose and the solder looks clean. I use a sony vtc 4 and usually vape a 1.0 ohm micro coil at 12-15 watts.

Any help would be appreciated as I can't afford to buy another mod atm.

Was it dropped? How many times was it dropped? How long ago was the last drop when it started acting up?

It did get knocked off my desk I think about 2 days before the fault started. Though the drop was about 3 foot and it landed on carpet.

Did you clean the end cap(internal side) and upper battery contact while it was open?
Battery resistance issues can/will cause screen problems.
