So I guess I have found something to complain about with my elev8 IPV, it appears to read low on the ohm's. I have many 0.6 ohm coils and on the IPV it reads them at 0.3 ohm and will not fire. I also have some 1.4 ohm coils that I was trying to put into my Big Dripper and was consistently getting readings at 0.4, again not able to fire those coils.

Anyone have an idea how to fix this? My Hana needed to have the ground tightened down and that seemd to solve the issue while I had it (currently in a state of rebuild).

You could pull the (2) screws and side cover to take a peak. Careful though as most parts fit into slots/pins like a jigsaw puzzle.
Personally, and I know you don't want to hear this, I would request replacement as Defective.
These are excellent mods when right and you paid for Right.

I don't fret minor cosmetic challenges. Everything I get from (Fasttech) is pre-scratched. Beginning to thing I included Scratch request at some point.

mine reads low to, about 1-1.5 to low :( not a deal breaker though...

I haven't tried anything under 1.5ohm yet but my IPV Mini (i got locally) appears to be on the money. Joyetech 1.5ohm 510 and 306 atties are spot on. I will make a point of checking its accuracy on a sub ohm device next time i get a chance.

Same here. I got mine through eciggity. Zero issues with it. Resistance is dead on and I've checked with multiple meters. I had also seen a few review videos on the ipv mini that complained about this random problem where the device would switch to power bank mode while vaping and the atomizer would constantly fire. I have yet to see that outside when I did it myself via key combo (up and down at the same time). It sounds like some of got lucky and got a build that was without issue.

For what it's worth I love mine. I'm thinking about getting another and tear it apart to mod into a custom woodie the same size and shape. I don't need 100 watts or 30 batteries lol. I've used it all day every day for about 2 weeks now. It's consistent. It fits my hand and feels good in it. And if I'm ever mugged it would also assist in a great left hook if absolutely necessary.

Don't start Rumors.
Videos I have found so far(and still checking daily) All say YOU CAN switch to Mobile Mode with an atomizer attached and the atomizer may fire.
First, that is just a stupid thing to do.
Second, it seems the Atlantis is the ONE atomizer so far that causes firing.
Third, no one I have found is claiming the unit will Randomly switch to Mobile Mode.

I took what he was saying as it would randomly just happen. With an atomizer on mine it's not a matter of chance it does happen. He says he can't get it on video several times. I don't understand how he can't get it on video unless he is referring to something else. I could easily replicate this with a kayfun and lemo attached.

Seriously?
Already Discussed and in no way did He say the unit would Randomly switch to Mobile. It takes pressing the +/- together to switch and HE did this while an atomizer was attached.
The INSTRUCTIONS tell you not to do that.

I have found holding ones head underwater for to long can be fatal. Perhaps we should get rid of water.

BRAIN SURGE!!! Umm, just had a thought on the slight Ohms Variance some are seeing and the LOW ohms only on a Few. May all be related and sort of simple.

Remember the Internals pic I posted. We already know YIHI has an excellent reputation so far on chip building.
I'm thinking this is more an externally induced issue. Quality of(or lack there of) the Soldering to the Center Pin. Possibly mounting of the 510 connector, ground path???
I may be totally off, but that big blob of solder has been bugging me.
My brain is saying anything short of a short would Add to resistance, but this is bugging me for some reason.

Any thoughts?

Flt Simulation, I wasn't pointing fingers in case you misunderstood. You were simply passing along information which you received and trusted to be correct. People get lucky once or twice and next thing everyone thinks it is the correct thing to do.
I simply wanted to let everyone know it really isn't a good idea to assume anything.
I'm crazy enough to leap, but I still look first. ;)

The questions now are:
1) Will the SX330 V2S board fit?
2) If so, where to snag one?
+70 watt upgrade

One battery wouldn't be enough voltage for that. I believe that board is buck only, so you need 2 in series. And for that guy who said the only buck boards are the DNA40 and SX330 and people are adding on, the OKR/OKL and Raptor boards are buck as well.
