Friends... a lil advice please... Out of the box ny tanks sat flush on it but since I've been using it almost all day, everyday it's I been bumped and knocked over a bit and now my tanks do not sit flush :( tried to ignore it, but I can't. It's bugging me. Anyone got an easy fix?
And just an fyi-after wrapping mine the button rattle has gone away almost completely...

Mine is pitch black as well. Bought it on eBay. Hope its not counterfeit. :)

I just got back from my local vape shop, and they also have the pitch black ipv mini for sale (for $79.99), so don't think they are, just a different batch, really hope mine is the gun metal, but if it is black, not that big of a deal, as probably wrap it anyway.

To my knowledge, only the IPV Mini V2 is being offered in black and not the original IPV Mini. Could it be you have the V2? Easy to find out, does it go up to 60W?

I don't have the IPV mini yet, only ordered this morning (V1), and I think the local vape shop was the V1, but I only saw it threw glass stand, so I could be wrong.

After one of my mods failing a few few days ago and watching P. Busardo's review on the IPV mini last night, decided to pull the trigger on the IPV mini this morning, I ordered the black, I don't want it to be black, I really like the gunmetal color, so hoping that hasn't changed.

Have been reading this thread, so know of the 0.10ohm difference and was surprised Busardo didn't pick up on that, but I'm not to concerned as only being 0.10ohm and seeing most can still fire a 0.50ohm even if the IPV reads it at 0.40ohm.

I guess these are popular, as a lot of places was out of stock, but think I scored a good deal, got it coming from Elev8, with 15% off coupon, was only $51 shipped

Shoot... wish I had known that Nailz. I just unloaded my gun metal "black" IPV Mini in the classifieds a few days ago. I would have given you the homeboy discount. :2cool:

I only decided on it last night after seeing the gun metal on Busardo's review, still think I got it for a good price, but was there something you didn't like about it, to be getting rid of it, or just to many mods?

It was a good mod, I just got bored with it and the 30W max was limiting me to a degree. After ordering the SX Zero I decided the IPV Mini's time was up. I only have so many pockets. ;)

I also flip mods which I don't develop a fairly keen bond with. I think I've purchased something like 25 mods in the last couple of months and have only kept about a dozen or so.

Now your going to have to find a pair of pants with shirt that have a dozen pockets! :)

I wish! I don't carry all of my mods around, lol. On the weekends, I typically carry two small VW mods with RTAs (those are now the SX Mini and SX Zero). However, during the work week it is not uncommon for me to have 6-10 mods in my laptop bag at any given time. I get bored with the same flavor quickly and like the ability to rotate throughout the day.

I keep telling myself I don't need one but deep down I really, really want to get the V2. When I first got the Mini I was vaping at around 18 watts and was perfectly happy. Now I'm at 25-28 watts and am wondering what'll happen if I want to try going above 30. The problem is I don't need another mod and if I sell this one I'm not going to get anything for it with the V2 coming out.

    Such a dilemma.

And I've got the opposite problem that Raguvian does!

Question: I'm running a .6 ohm single coil on the IPV mini at 8.5 watts! That goes against everything I understand about ohms law!

But I'm really happy with the flavor, the vapor production, everything! Am I gonna do any harm to the IPV running a sub-ohm coil at wattage this low?

I'm pretty sure you're not going to harm anything. Are you in PWM or DC-DC mode? In DC-DC it can't regulate that low so it is probably putting out more than 8.5 watts.
