The dna chips will probably fit, but be prepared that the wiring may be quite different. I've not seen this yihi chip nor a wiring diagram so I don't know. What I meanis the 510 might wire to a different place, the switches, etc. So you may need to replace or splice some wires. Unless/until someone takes it apart, its hard to say. I know what the dna chips all look like and where everything connects, but not this chip.

Finally got mine (silver) and couldn't be happier. Fits perfectly in my hand, is super easy to figure out and with the Aspire Atlantis, this thing is a beast.

Good things do come in small packages.

Doesn't it have a Very Solid feel to it? And it Doesn't want to tip over when you put it down.

BTW - What Number is Yours?

Got my ipv mini over the weekend. Love the look and feel. Seen the same issues with the ohm being off just like the rest of you folks have been experiencing. Had one issue out of the box. The mirrored screen is coming off. So unfortunately I had to send it back. Have such bad luck with equipment lol

Are you sure it wasn't the protective film?

Yup. Already done. He was very nice about it.

Cool.

When a Vendor sends me an OEM Sealed item and there is some issue, I Can't get Mad at him if there is a Problem like what you had. As long as he Processes the Return Quickly. Which it sounds like he Did.

Absolutely. Got the return label within a half hour and will be sending it back tomorrow. I seen horror stories of people who buy ecigs are stuck with a defective model and the vendor won't do anything about it.

I know I got my IpV mini in hopes of running it with the atlantis. and when i initially put it on it reads at .4 my ohm reader and dan 40 read the coil at .56 so I will fire it a few times and let it set. fire it a few times more and it eventually pops up to .5 and starts firing correctly. I bought it for my wife, for the atlantis. just seems like the chip has to get "adjusted" to the coil/tank or whatever before it wanted to read right. overall, I think the mod is well worth 50$ in comparison to what I have to spend to get 30 watt output and easy 18650 battery change. kind of a dream come true.

I would think the chip has plenty of room Allen, the dna40 I have seen one mounted in a clone zna and the form factor of these 2 mods is real similar. it is actually an awesome idea. a dna40 chip in this mod would be the dream mod. I might would change out the 510 on it as well to a fat daddy but I have not taken this one apart all the way to see what all that would call for. if it is taller, might get the 22mm well and drop on top of the mini shell. just a lot to look at when modding. but thing is def worth the shell. might crack it open and realize the connections inside need upgrading as well. especially if you are planning on utilizing the temperature sensing part of the chip on the 40. just food for thought

If i were to run with this idea, how would i fit buttons (fire,up,down)? the mini uses the onboard ones on the sx 130. i could prob drill and fit up/down buttons, but it might be difficult to find a switch to replace the fire button.
p.s. its Allan, with an a :)
