Had mine for a couple of weeks now. Resistance reads 0.1 ohms less. Other than that it works flawlessly. No paint coming off my gun-metal black one...yet.

Somewhere I read there is no bucking in DC-DC mode, only PWM mode. 0.6 ohm @ 20W on my Fogger V4 (DC-DC mode) I was getting dry hits, switched it over to PWM mode and it has corrected itself.

Think before making such negative statements. Don't let a Group mentality define a religious icon.

That is because the chip in this mod can not regulate. .6ohm on a 4.2 volt battery = 29.4 watts. That just goes to show tha anything over 30 watts is a waste in the vaping world. Can you imagine 150 watts on a .2 ohm build? I dont know how anybody could even vape anything over 30 watts?

When you vape at higher watts you just build and wick accordingly and its perfectly fine.

Even a simple 8 wrap dual 26g microcoil (2mm ID) is fine for vaping over 30w. That is my go to build, usually comes out to .4o, when I'm feeling lazy and its good around 40-70w depending on the juice.

Really the only thing I build for our 30 watt devices are single coils.

The only thing I didn't like about my Mini was that the screen was pretty hazy and not as crisp as I wanted it to be. Then, last night I found out that it had a piece of plastic protective film on it that finally started coming off after two weeks of owning this device. Peeled it off and the display looks amazing.

I'm a dummy.

I've had my IPV mini since Christmas. This morning it stopped working. I tried several batteries and no go. I opened the case and found the positive wire to the battery broke off. I had to re-solder it but it's back in operation. It appears the solder was mostly on the wire and not much on the connector. It could be a manufacturing defect but it's something to check if anyone else finds it stops working.

What's everyone battery life on their mini. I have tow and they work great but they seen go through batteries quicker then my other mods. I run mostly 10 to 15 watts.

Compared to? We cannot see your collection from here.:)

Both of mine last about the same at comparable wattage. That is all that really matters.

Have you noticed you are using it more than others?

Kanger Subtank Mini PRESALE

I'm looking at the Nano myself, for a Cloupor.................Undersized POS :glare:
I use RTA's on my IPV mini's, but the Kanger SubTanks really seem to have it together.
Kind of an Orchid/Bliss but BVC easy peasy Tank for both novice and experienced builders.
To bad they couldn't make the Nano Buildable................. well, it is - Sort of :D

So i've had my IPV since around Christmas and about a week ago upgraded my Aerotank V2 to an Atlantis and everything is working great. The thing vapes like a champ @ 25w DC-DC and the only oddity is the coil reads 0.4ohm.

I spent the past half hour reading this thread since I last posted and while I understand some of you have legitimate defects in your mini, it seems that some of you are demanding more than what is reasonable out of this device. While I admit I'm far from an expert on these kind of devices, decades of experience with electronics has taught me that when any device is being run at the extreme maximum or minimum, it falls out of it's efficiency range and whether it's a voltage regulator, memory controller, and i'm sure even personal vaporizers this would apply to.... the fact is that at those outer limits nothing ever performs spot-on. In addition to things wandering out of spec, you're also putting a lot more wear and tear on the electronics much like you would by running your cars engine all the way up to the red-line. Yes... running such high RPM's is within the operational range of the engine, but not something you want to do all the time . Those of you dead set on running 30w on an Atlantis, in my opinion bought the wrong device. To vape at that level I think it would be best to have probably a 50w maximum in order to ensure everything functions properly and the electronics aren't constantly pushed so hard it results in premature failure.

just my 2 cents. I may be way off on this, but i have a feeling i'm not.
