IPV2S Issues

I'm having some issues this morning with my IPV2S. When I press the fire button HHHHHHHHHH pops up on the display, and the atomizer doesn't fire. I took the battery out for a few minutes to reset it and it worked for two hits then did it again. Took the battery out again and nothing this time, just the HHHHHHHHH. Tried a different atty, same thing. Anyone had issues like this? The mod is a little over two months old. Maybe the firmware needs to be flashed? I have no clue.

Without an atty on it, it gives me the check atomizer message. The other buttons work like they're suppose to.

A brief Google search revealed the following:

Error codes:
•Low Res=Low atomizer resistance(﹤0.2Ω)
•Low-Bat=Low battery voltage(﹤3.2V)
•HHHHHHHH=High input voltage(﹥5V)

So I guess that means your input voltage is too high. What kind of battery are you using?

Using LG 18650s he2's. Goofy thing is, it was the same battery I had in there last night that started doing it, after working fine last night. Tried a different battery, same thing.

On a side note, I race RC cars. Once in a while our speed controller will act weird. Re flash the firmware and it works good as new. Gonna try and do the firmware update when I get home from work today.

Well, I uodated the software today. No dice. Still shows the HHHHHHH on the screen. Not gonna lie, I'm a little mad about this. Two month old mod, and from the sounds of it dealing with Asmodus for warranty work is a pain in the .....
