Pretty sure something is wrong with my built in ohm reader and wanted to see if anyone knows of or has had this problem. I purchased the IPV 3 a few days ago and same problem has been happening before and after I installed the 165 watt update. So far, I have only used my Aspire Atlantis and nautilus on the box. My Atlantis coils are reading at a .60. My Nautilus coils are ranging from 1.97 to 2.01. This is way off from the .5 and 1.8 they are supposed to read. I dont have an ohm reader so I have nothing to compare to, but this cant be right. Has anyone has this problem? I have read of the ohm reader being.01-.02 off but never off like this. I did purchase it from Ebay, but it has checked out authentic. Any info you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Odds are it is working fine.

Factory coils like that are rated as an approximation, and that is well within the typical variation you see with them.

Not to mention given the performance range of the ipv3 , even if it was reading coil resistance a little optimistically, you have a wide enough range of available power to get whatever type of vape you want.

What is more important is that it is reading resistance consistently in this case.

Are you comparing this to anything or just to the box? BTW the 0.6 reading is normal for the Atlantis based on personal experience and from every YT review of the product I have seen.

FYI I would never trust a single device's ohm reader, particularly with as much power as you have available.

From the few IPV3's I have seen(mine and 2 others), the ohm reading is very accurately inaccurate. xD

Mine and the two others I saw all read slightly high(0.02 ohms). Not bad as it only gives you one decimal place precision on the display, but you can get the true ohm reading by its voltage calculation. The newest firmware may fix it, not sure. It may even be accurate, but the internal logic is what is adding some resistance to the overall build, I am not too studied on that stuff.

Any other odd ohm readings beyond the inaccurate calibration has been related to the atty and builds in the atty. Its the most accurate variable wattage mod I have.
