I'm nit sure about the ipv but I do know that as the wire heats up the ohms change not sure if it's up or down though.

Resistance (ohms) go up as the wire heats up. With some wires, like nickel, the resistance change is very predictable and its what makes Evolv's DNA40 heat 'sensing' technology work.

Anyway, if its a firmware change on the device and the ohms seem to rise after use or as your using, then it makes sense. But if the ohm readings drop as the coils are heated, something is wrong somewhere with the build, the device or the firmware.

yeah they are both solid, just wanted feedback from other ipv3 users that did the upgrade, the biggest variation on the meter is like a build from .38 ohms then when i fire it it goes down to .35 and it stays there, fluctuating from .35 to .36, i saw a vid on youtube and i think its normal, like i said if anybody did the upgrade please tell me if thats the case with your builds and the ipv 3
