IPV4S - Temp Control - Stainless Steel

Hi all,

I have an IPV4S mod with a Uwell Crown (gen 1) tank. Typically I have .25 ohm stainless steel coils for the mod, and am wanting to try temp control (or Joule mode) on the device.

However, the Joule mode on the IP on has options for Ni or Ti coils, and no SS option.

Is there any way of safely doing TC on it using SS coils, or would it be better to just get a Ti coil or two for it?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

While stainless steel can be used in TC a Google search made me come to the conclusion that the IPV4S never got the firmware upgrade to give it TC options with SS, which was 8 months after the mod was released so chances are you won't ever get that option with that device.

I just use TI and NI200 with the IPV4S. It works well.

Or simply use power mode. While rather large by todays standards it is a dual 18650 so will have ~2x the run time as a single battery mod.
