Does anyone have any problem of the painting chipping or coming off on the IPV4S? My friend said his black one's paint came off easily but I don't have any friend who uses the silver one so, any idea?

I noticed a tiny bit of paint came off my black ipv4s at the top near the threads. It's barely noticeable. Maybe from screwing my atty's on to tight. I have only had it for a week

A common problem with many ipvs. I recommend a wrap or silicone sleeve.

Well, I've had the silver one for quite a while and no issues with it. As to the paint coming off, didn't experience this either, but last week I sanded it all down and painted it black. I prefer black, but when I got mine the black was unavailable everywhere I looked. I'm not a guy that does pre-orders. Heck, I'm the guy that pays extra for expedited shipping when I cant get things local.

I just ordered the IPV4s so hoping it's good. I think most of the negative comments have to do with the 9v charging port shorting the mod in the IPV4. In the IPV4s the charge port has been removed so hopefully there will be no more major issues.

I don't have any problem with it --- Best mod I own --- TC works great, can create clouds with the best of them and has a nice screen. Rock solid device.

I have the ipv4s as well. I really love♡♡♡ mine! never had ANY PROBLEMS with it. I have the ipv, ipv2, ipv3, and now the ipv4s.never have I had ANY issues with my ipv series.they have been real work horses. I've dropped my ipv3 about 100 times and it never hurt it. my readings have always been SPOT ON. I've checked them.for the price the ipv4s is a STEAL! I paid over 100 for my ipv3. the ipv4s is great because the firmware is upgradable at home, other mods are now following suit but they were the first to do this. it's 120 watts. will run down to a .1 ohm coil. will run kanthal, titanium, and nickle wire. the dual 18650s are WONDERFUL and last a LONG TIME! Mine 2 days with sub ohm coils!! the batteries are SUPER EASY to change, no screws, although it's not a magnet back I feel it's stronger than a magnet with the snap on .it snaps from the side. it's display is beautiful and easily seen. it's lighter and fits nice in the hand. it has multiple memory settings for your favorite settings. it is comfortable to fire.it has a durable 510 connection area that won't strip like other different mods I've had. easy to carry and they make silicone sleeves to go with the ipv4s series if that's your thing. I don't have ANY complaints about mine. I think if you get the ipv4s you will NOT be disappointed. I know I'm not. I'm a fan of the YIHI chips! they have always been precise and never went crazy like the DNA series did on me. I don't think you will regret getting the ipv4s. it's a very nice unit that has the capability to do several different things. also instead of having to purchase a new unit you can upgrade the firmware online. if you take a look at all it's capabilities and the price I think it beats out the other contenders. you can compare side by side and for the price, you are getting a great deal and this mod is offering a lot. hope this helps. best wishes
