IPV4 Problem

Sorry I can't post this in a more specific forum, but I do have a question hopefully someone can help me with. I have an IPV4 that I have been using for a couple of months and LOVE it! Here is the problem. As of this morning my Herakles tank will not thread onto the IPV4. I have multiple tanks and none of them will thread. If I push down on the tank and hold it there no problem, the IPV4 will fire. It feels "mushy", if that makes sense. Anyone else have this problem or anyone know of a way to fix it?

Sounds as if you messed the threading up on the IPV.

That's what I was thinking. Hopefully not, but I will check it later with a different tank.

Yep, that sounds like a stripped 510 connector.

The only way to fix it would be to order yourself a replacement 510 connector and then swap out the one on your mod with the new one. From what I've seen of the inside of the IPV4....

That looks like a real nightmare to do.

Good gracious...that is NOT something I could do!! I may have to find someone to do it for me. I bought something as a "replacement" and am just not as happy with it as I was with my IPV4....oh well. Live and learn I guess!
