I've been all over the place like a chicken made of data running through a vast internet field of information.

In short, that's too many ones and zeroes for any chicken to handle.

---
So, I've got my kit, Mega 510.
This is really just a larger version of the regular Joye 510 and I believe Healthcabin.net to be a good supplier as specified by reviews on this site and the fact that Amy keeps care of her customers well is a plus. She even changed my mailing address before it went out because I had put the wrong one in.

Nice job there.
(not to mention they support paypal... which was the only thing I had to use at the time)

--
I've got my Juices, also from Healthcabin.net that I tossed into the order.
18mg 30ml-USA mix and 10ml-Lucky Strike

Those should(in theory) keep me going for a while although I am in the process of finding a new bank so more than likely I'll be purchasing from some of the main e-juice suppliers like Freedom-smoke and backwoods.

--
I've done tons of research on how to clean and maintain my e-cigs. Mostly due to watching cozzcon's videos over and over making sure I understand everything. He's very thorough.

--

Once I settle in with what I have, I intend on picking up a large amount of spare atomizers and carts, as well as about two or three more batteries and some different e-juices, as well as a standard 510 to go along with the Mega, seeing as how their batteries are interchangable.

--

So, is there anything else I need? I feel I should've picked up some sort of carrying case for the Mega but I wasn't thinking about it at the time and a passthrough but I suppose... all good things in due time. I'm just getting started.

This is really just to assure myself that I'm all-set. I'm still waiting for the shipment to arrive but I like to plan for the future, keeping myself in check.

I, at one point was a pack-a-day smoker... for about three years. I quit a few months ago, cold turkey and ended up back at it as I was moving to a new location two states down... The nerves of moving to a new place and new people got to me.:glare:

So, now I'm steadily at 5-a-day, if not a bit more depending on how bored I am or how late I intend on staying up.

As expected... I think a few of my first uses on the e-cigarette will just be assuring myself that I like it and determining what to do to change the experience if I want to like it a bit more.

So, anything I missed?:?:

I would recommend a Pass-through probably a 5v one so you can get an idea of how voltages change taste, increased vapor etc. I have the 510 Megas as well and if you wind up hitting them a lot (which you probably will at least at first) they last me about 2 hours. With the PT at home and available you will use that frequently when the bats are charging. and as Liv says above you will pop the crap out of Atties as you learn :)

You are well setup with what you've purchased thus far, and you are right about purchasing extra attys, etc. When you get around to ordering extra batteries, your Mega 510 parts will fit on the eGO batteries which are much larger and last considerably longer, but you will also have to purchase an eGO charger, and I would also get an eGO cone. HealthCabin is an excellent supplier, and will have all of these parts at a good price. Good Luck to you & I like the avatar you've chosen.

Not sure how many atty's come with the kit but I would have a few extra around. When you are starting out some people (like me) have been known to kill a few on short order.

That's one thing I'm worried about... I'm hoping the two that I get with the kit will be enough to last me until my next purchase. I'm a bit low on cash at the moment until I get my first paycheck on my new job.

Understood - Then treat them well. Blow out the primer first -- Place threaded end in paper towel and blow through other end really good. Prime w/about four drops of juice and cigar puff about four or five times. Refill and vape away. Try not to run them dry and don't chain vape them and get them smoking hot. Warm to the touch is ok.

That all seems easy enough. So there's a method by which you guys go through to "set-up" new atomizers?
I thought you just pulled them out of the box, tossed them in, dripped them up and started vaping.

Nope see previous post. Most 510's have a nasty primer on them. Once you vape that stuff you will know what a wet mop tatses like! Blowing them out and cigar puffing with a good liquid will take care of that issue.

See, there's something I wouldn't have known if I hadn't have made this thread. I'd hate to instantly dislike my e-cigs because of a wet-mop taste.

Very true, i have already bought a 510 kit, 901 kit, GGTS, many many liquids and accessories. I try to keep it at the same or less than i used to spend on analogs and it feels ok but sometimes i see that one thing i cant live without. I too have killed many 510 attys along the way but finally have gotten used to how they like to be vaped. Next purchase will be the Ego to replace my 510 for mobile vaping. Enjoy, i am certainly addicted now. I have been about a month with no analogs, never thought i would be able tod do that.
