As ex-smokers, I am sure you all know what I am talking about. So I am curious to know if you experience this with the ecig or not. Lately I have been smoking pretty frequently, and my bronchials are becoming quite irritated, making me periodically cough and have an itchy feeling in my throat. I am anxious to see if I will get this as bad with an ecig. I really hope not, as this is one of the huge reasons I am wanting to quit analogs. Any input would be appreciated. :)

That is something that you may want to see your doctor about. If it is new development after a long time of smoking analogs.

I've found that I am sensitive to PG because it will irritate my throat and nose so I use up to 100% VG in all my DIY mixes and this makes a big difference. Vaping will effect everyone differently as some are more sensitive or even allergic to PG than others and many don't have any problem at all.

I found myself drinking more water, PG is used in humidors to control humidity. I use about 25% VG in my juice and it helps. Also the nic from vaping is absorbed in the upper airways not the lungs, so deeper inhales really don't do much for nic absorption and keep the irritating effect out of your lungs. with an e-cig you want to take slower longer draws than a analog. Drawing it into your mouth and then inhaling feels better than drawing from your lungs directly. Vaping is at least 3 times as cooler than analog smoke (atty's vaporize at somewhere around 54C or 129F for the most part)
