Is 18500 battery (1100 maH) enough? or do you need 18650?

that's kind of like asking is 3.5 gallons of gasoline enough for you to drive back and forth to work each day? too many variables for a question like this to be valid as it will be enough for some and not enough for others, depending on the many variables...

I can fit 3 18500 batteries in that stupid little pocket on the right side of jeans..I always have two in there.

Depends on how much you vape, what voltage, what resistance, etc...

I use a 1.1 ohm coil at 3.7 volts or about 12.4 watts. Tu/th I go through a 18650 a day, as I have classes from 8am through 9pm and am in the library or labs vaping trying to do engineering ..... Where every other a 18490 suits me since I work behind a bar in a decent restaurant and obviously can't vape there.

I can get through an 8 hour day with about a 30 minute drive of chain vaping each way, and three 20 min vaping breaks on a regulated 18350 running a 1.8 ohm coil, but only if it's fully charged when I leave. With that said, I'm still waiting for somebody to make a nice DNA-30 box mod that takes a 26650. I might break down and just get the Hades mechanical.

Depends on amp draw mainly. I normally vape in the 2 amp range, so a 18490/500 lasts me pretty much all day. If I wanted to use sub ohm coils I would need to have more than one battery to make it through the day.

i generally get about 5 hours on a 18490 battery, using it on a kayfun wrapped around 1.3. but your time maybe different.

Today my 18650 dropped to 3.0V and I got really weak vapes. Is that normal? I thought they only go from 4.2V to 3.7V?

From what I understand, your battery is over discharged at that low of a charge. It's possible to have a battery go below 3.7 volts. I personally recharge my 18650's when they reach 3.5 volts. This is all info I've found on here

3.2 is the lowest you should run to, one new 2000 efest imr 18650 can last me from 4-8 hours depending if I run a 1.8-2 ohm / or 3-3.4 ohm. It all depends on what coil, and how you vape.

I agree with the above its like asking how many miles can you drive on a gallon of gas... Well any where from 5 -100 depending..
