Fairly new, 1/22 quit date and still going. I have been to B&M's, ordered from MANY online vendors and I dont like a majority of the flavors out there. Not into the tobaccos, but the only ADV's I like are Ecto cooler and Mountain Drink. I like Cappuccino sometimes for a change and some of the simple fruit flavors. I realize I have not tried a lot of what is out there though. Some of the ones I have tried and liked, but were a little too much $$$ were from EC Blends, I liked 4 or 5 of their Dragon blends.

I use an MVP2 with a kayfun lite, organic cottom wick. I go thru about 8 mls a day on my KFL and use 6mg 50/50 mixes. Some with extra flavor shots as well. I get the clouds and I taste everything much better with this setup.

Most of the flavors have a chemical taste to me, or like that Lizard stuff, I didn't like ANY of their flavors...tried over 25!

Some I have bought are OK, but I would not want to vape them more than a few times a week, just for a change of pace. I always go back to the Ecto because of that Bright citrus flavor.

I will not spend $20 on 15 to 30 mls of the gourmet's. Not in my budget, as I would suck it down in 2 days.

Is it normal to have tried over 100 flavors and only liking a half dozen or so?

I am thinking of getting into DIY, if for no other reason than to mass produce my ADV and save money on those.

Because I like the bright juicy flavors, does anyone have any suggestions on those? Should I stick with a certain flavor manufacturer?

I have recieved so much help from this site...any and all help is appreciated. :D

The only vendor that I have had consistent success with is Ahlusion. Honestly - I should stop going "oh - that sounds really good, I should try it" with other vendors and just stick with Ahlusion.

Your initial purchase may be pricier than some other vendors who are about cheap over craftsmanship.

When you spend at least $20 on their non-aeromatic line and non-Xpress line, you can request a free 10 ml bottle sample of your choice (just make sure that the sample you are asking for is eligible for a sample - it will say in the description, highlighted in yellow if it is not).

You would say "May I please get a sample of XX in Xmg, xVG/xPG, sweetened (or don't say sweetened if you don't need it)? Thanks!" in the comments as you are checking out.

In about 3 weeks, you'll get a feedback e-mail asking for you to give them feedback on the juices you tried - not a review, but real feedback about what you are using to vape with, what resistance are your coils, what voltage are you vaping on, and then feedback on the juice. You might say "I really enjoyed the Blueberry Vanilla Cake, but I really wish that the blueberry was a little stronger tasting - because I mostly tasted the cake and not much of the blueberry" or "this was perfect the way it was mixed!"

They then "profile" you and your vape gear and preferences and you now have your own "recipe" - so the next time you get Blueberry Vanilla Cake - it's been tweaked to make the blueberry shine a little more.

With that feedback e-mail, you can also get a 15% off discount code to use on your next order (within 15 days of receiving the e-mail).

I will either buy 3 10 mls and ask for 1 10 ml as a sample, or if I really like a juice, I'll order a 10 ml, a 30 ml and ask for a 10 ml - for a little under $25 shipped I'm getting 50 mls.

For myself and many others, once you try Ahlusion, you'll measure all other juice vendors to them. I wish I had found them earlier in my vaping journey - it would have saved me a lot on juices that just didn't make the cut for me - from the bargain basement pricing juices (which tasted bargain basement) to the Five Pawns level juices.

I also purchase from The Plume Room, Highbrow and Alice in Vapeland and would recommend all three - but Ahlusion has consistently had a larger percentage of wins for me - out of over 60 flavors I have currently from them, I can count on one hand (less than 5) that just weren't for me - not Ahlusion's fault, they were well crafted, just not my flavor profile (mint/menthol and spicier juices).

U vape 8 mls a day? Did I read that right? If that was correct and u don't want to vape that much, u might consider upping your mg to 8 or even 12 mg liquid.
Vaping that much in a day would be hard to stay hydrated and will most likely cause vapers tongue. And that will without a doubt cause flavors to be wonky.
I myself am not a fan a Ahlusion, however, they make a quality product. The taste is clean but way too light for me.
There are also some nic base I cannot vape, and its hard to know what nic that is. Its a crap shoot at times.
Before u blow a bunch of money let me make a couple suggestions
Buy diy sweetener, some tart and sour for fruit vapes and maybe even a few diy favs. Like if u like strawberries get some of that flavor.
Don't be afraid to adjust your juice. U use salt and pepper right? Same thing with liquid.
Also if u do decide to go with a high end " fresh" juice, be sure to to well stocked on juice u can use for a month or so, as some take weeks to ship and u may have to steep a month or more before u vape.

I don't have al all day vape, I like to switch out between 5 or 8 flaves a day. I can say that I have only 2 that I have orderd more than 4 times. Sometimes it helps me to archive poor flaves and revist it later on in life. You might or may not like it, but you will get some use out of it. Otherwise, Another thing I do is mix with my old flaves. If you have something that is weak, mix it with something thing that was too strong. I have gotten extra mileage that way.

In my limited experience so far you can have cheap or good. Rarely do you get both. I'm also with Lethalp on the consumption amount and vaper's tongue. Like mare ze dotes I change flavors regularly. I've been happy with everything I tried so far from Velvet Cloud Vapor, Ahlusion, and Alice in Vapeland.

Thanks Everyone for your help. Yes I do vape about 8 mls a day, but I have never gotten vapor tongue, just lucky I guess. The Kayfun is a juice guzler though. I don't vape heavy cause I am chasing the nic rush, more so cause it tastes so dang good ;)
I was a 2 pack a day smoker, so this is better for me and I can vape at work.

You get what you pay for in life and that seems no different in juice. I will go the DIY route with my ADV's and try some tinkering to find the new one that will really knock my socks off. I am a good cook with a good recipe, so off to the kitchen I will go.

Thanx again everyone...Stosh, I think you and I have similar taste buds.

This describes me. I'm new and haven't tried 100 flavors, maybe 30 including 5-6 each from Ahlusion, Vermillion River and Mt. Baker. The only one I really, really like is Hawk Sauce(I should have ordered Ecto Cooler too but it only had 4 of 5 stars so I decided against it at the last second). I had high hopes for Ahlusion with all the people raving about them here, so I ordered sasparilla, pineapple cream, smooth criminal, boba tea, and citrus blast. I liked Citrus Blast ok, and Smooth Criminal wasn't bad but I absolutely hated pineapple cream, boba tea and sasparilla. So of the 30 flavors or so I have tried, only Hawk Sauce has made me crave it, with me finding Citrus Blast from Ahlusion and Kentucky Premium Blend from Vermillion River tasty as we'll.

So the search continues for this picky vaper. But I definitely plan on ordering Ecto Cooler with my next order of Hawk Sauce.

I spent hundreds on juices with the B&M's before I wised up and started making my own. I used to buy a Turkish from a B&M down the road and paid $1 a ml, going through 90 ml a week while being treated like dirt by a nasty guy who works there who hated me because I could build an RBA well and he couldn't build one at all. I guess he was just an idiot, but I wasn't taking his crap anymore, and started making my own juice.

I came up with something that I'm far happier with than anything I ever got from the B&M's and a great deal cheaper. If you want the recipe IM me. I smoked Marlboros for nearly 40 years, and this juice is as close to that as I have been able to get. The recipe is for 100 ml batch, 12 mg nic vaped in a .7 ohm RBA on a mech.

Vaperite are my favorite supplier at the moment. They use organic and natural flavoring in many of their juices - check the juice descriptions. The juices I've received tasted very clean/chemical free with warm flavor. Price is good. Definitely worth a try if you are searching.

Organic juice - from the website: "The organic flavorings are USDA approved, with no chemical additives, artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners."

And natural flavor juice - from the website: "What is naturally flavored vape juice? Unlike artificially flavored juices, natural flavors contain naturally derived ingredients, no chemical residues or preservatives.

ETA - they also sell organic flavor concentrates for DIY.

I have a few favourites, but always like to try new juices but it's always hit and miss. I signed up for Zamplebox recently so i can try a few of the US vendors juices to see if there is much difference between them and the UK and as prices are higher over here then even with delivery costs it works out good value.

I thought about this recently.. How do you find it?

I struggle for juice, tend to like fruit flavours I think..

Tried all sorts from five pawns to snake oil and several different brands and have only three that I can vape..

Banana and grape from Pure Eliquids and Apricote peach from Halo..

I've only just joined, so had one box so far, but the quality of the juices is good and in a standard box (works out at £27 with shipping to UK) you get at least 60ml a month (i got 95ml in my first box).

You can choose the nic strength you want, and pick and choose the flavours you like / dont like. If anything i found my first box to be bit heavy on the fruits (dessert vapes are my favourites) but if you are looking for fruit based juices it could be ideal for you. There are a couple of threads about it in the UK forum here on ECF where a few of us have reviewed what we have had from zamplebox so far.
