Is Dekang 100% VG liquid really 100% VG?

My skin is very sensitive towards PG. When I just started vaping with pg/vg mix juices, I got horrible breakouts around my mouth area. And so I switched to 100% VG juices and it cleared up.

However, recently I've bought a dozen bottles of Hangsen 100% VG juice and my breakouts started again!!

I was puzzled. So I contacted the Hangsen company and they told me that their 100% VG juices does contain a small amount of PG. And I guess that's why I have breakouts.

Now I'm planning to buy the Dekang 100% VG juices... but will it be really 100% VG or will be like Hangsen containing a small amount of PG?

If anyone has any idea please kindly share.

Thank you

The issue you will run into is that PG carries flavor better than VG, so a lot of flavorings that are used are PG based. Some companies use a nic base that contains PG also.
If you truly want a liquid with no PG in it you will be better off finding good, reputable company.
It will most likely be a little more expensive, but probably the only way you will get a liquid without any PG in it.

Johnson Creek's Red Oak line contains no PG

I would deal with a US vendor and spend more on the juice rather than buy from a country that saw no problem with lead paint on children's toys.

Try a local B&M store where you can talk to the person mixing the juice.

Flavors are often a tiny bit of flavor stuff in PG, so if you take 10% flavor, not uncommon, and 1000% VG you end up with about 90% VG. That is before you add the nic.

You can get a limited set of flavors made with VG and probably nic cut with VG but you will need to talk/email with whoever is making the juice to be sure what they use.

Also, not all flavorings are available with VG so there will be a limited range of juice flavors available.

Making your own juice is not out of the question. Look here for the DIY juice forum. Then you can have more control over what goes in your juice and it will probably end up being cheaper.

I have one bottle of Dekang and have to say it is not as thick as the 99.5% pure VG bought at the CVS. Can not say what has been added to the Dekang besides flavoring, but for sure, it is not 100%

When you think about it, No e-Liquid is 100% VG.

Because the way e-Liquids are Described, there is No Consideration for the Percentage of Anything besides VG and PG.

So, depending on your e-Liquid, there is going to be a Percentage of Nicotine. There is also Usually a certain amount of Water added to a 100% VG e-Liquid to make it Wick Better.

Add the Flavoring of an e-Liquid makes up a Percentage of the Total Volume. And Many Flavorings are PG Based. And then there can be Sweeteners added.
