Is e-cig a good DIY site for supplies?

Never tried their DIY stuff, BUT they are a china based company and unless you are planning on making a large order
the shipping wouldn't be economical. You might want to look into some US based companys. I use Wizard labs, good NIC, lots of flavors, and very reasonable prices. Other good options are VapingZone, RTSVapes.....

Hope that helps! Good luck with the DYI!!

There are alot of vendors who carry diy, most also carry other items, you can click on the "forum suppliers" link in the toolbar above, or the sortable list; Forum Suppliers - Sortable List. I've mainly stayed with The perfumers apprentice (tpa), but others rave about capellas and others I've not yet tried, hth! ;)

I've bought TPA from Good Prophets when they have sales, use tvcfriend for 5%, plus free shipping on orders over $30.

Recently started using Mt. Baker Vapor they have some great flavors and carry the 15ml size also, use ECF for 10% discount;

Whitney, I'm not 100% sure which company you're talking about, but if it's the one I think it is, I looked for info on them here and couldn't find much because I think they were banned from this forum. That was enough for me to stay far away. I may have to pay a bit more, but I'm always happy with my purchases from the vendors I use that are in good standing here on forums.

If you are new to DIY I think a good place to start would be a few Capella flavors as you can mix and go with them then as you get a bit more confident with mixing you can move on. DIY will not be cheap to begin with!! I have DIYed for about 15 mo. now and here are a few things learned along the way:
buy cheap and you get cheap
china is good for hardware but liquids I only buy from the US
If it ain't on sale I don't buy it.
Buy flavors in the smallest amount possible to begin with..a bit more pricey per ml but you'll save in the long run.
A good way to save $ is to order with a friend. My daughter and I bought 30 ml bottles on sale, avoided shipping costs by making a larger order and got the 30 ml pricing per ml for 15ml of flavor.
Buying bulk is only a good deal if you use it before it goes bad.
I bought 250ml of PG only to give it all away when I became sensitive to it in my second month of vapeing..great deal for my daughter so I was OK with that one. Within 6 months of vapeing I went to 0 mg nicotine, I had about 400ml of 100mg on hand so another not so good of a deal for me but a great one for my daughter. I think you get my point.
Save your old bottles from juice you bought to avoid buying new ones. To get the old flavor out, store the bottles (cleaned & opened) in your freezer.

My 3 favorite suppliers for flavors...One stop DIY, excellent selection of TFA flavors and the best customer service out there, ...Wizard Labs, love the fact they ship in glass vials.....E-Cig Express has got just about all the flavor brands now & best price/selection on FA.

AS you get going and have something to offer back you can also check out the "DIY pay it forward" thread on ECF.

Please excuse my ramblings but I hope this will save you some $$! Good Luck and don't forget to share those keeper DIY recipes with us.
