I already searched before I asked, no dice. What I need is something like this. If you like TFA at 3%, use X% of MTB.
With all due respect...
If you use TFA Caramel Cappuccino or Black Sesame at 3%, you'll blow your taste buds to Uranus. If you use, say, Vanilla Cupcake at 3%, it'll taste like the breeze of a butterfly that few over a vanilla cupcake bakery about a week ago.
What you're asking for IS something we all wanted to know (or wished for) at some time or another!
Of course, you may have found that whichever ones you have work at 3% for you - but we can guarantee you that not all TFA flavors can be used successfully at any specific percentage by anyone....and that applies to every flavor manufacturer/vendor out there (although there are some lines of 'concentrates' that are fairly consistent).
I have been coming in at about 2-3% for where I want TFA base percentages. Been reading that Mt Baker needs more. Anyone give me a starting point so I can come in about the same strength as TFA 3% without too much down the drain? I have Mt Baker watermelon, raspberry and Irish cream. Appreciate the info.
If you start low and work up to your preferred percentage, nothing is going to go 'down the drain'. Just mix, steep, taste, and add more if you need/want more. Just be sure to keep good notes along the way.
