Question: How long should I wait until it's declared lost?

Through AVE juice, not long. We give the USPS some time to correct their issue, which for the most part they do, but WE do replace mostly"internally delayed" packages instead of "lost" packages.

The USPS asks you to wait 21 to 30 days before a shipment is marked as "lost" and that's a good lead-in to how long a resolution with them takes. We don't expect anyone to wait that long so we will often times reship an order before we report it lost to the USPS, and then if it remains lost--of which we've had ~three whole incidents--we finally BEGIN the loss paperwork and waiting.

However, we keep an eye on our tracking issues and we've found that most delays are just that, delays. This is a system that works out great for the most part, until someone takes advantage of it to get double the orders because they live in a poorly serviced postal area... which happens, but not enough to sacrifice the speed this system gives in handling package delays and losses. If it ever gets exploited to the point of financial loss then I'll switch to the more standard shipping policy most vendors have: once its in the shippers hands its out of ours.

P.S. - Poor Wookie1, she tries to answer with just the undressed facts and gets mistaken for a robot. I promise no robot would employ as much pink around the office as Wookie1 does.

Believe me, in any other situation, I don't think I would have been this persistent. I'm literally down to a couple of ml's of VG before I have to switch to PG, and I think I'd just not vape if it came to that. Desperation makes men do drastic things. But again, that is no fault of yours, merely bad planning on my side.

Also, I do apologize to Wookie for my quip. But you do got to admit, it seemed like a generated response :) Perhaps it's my modern-day paranoia... my first question to those working on those internet help-chat programs (on many websites) is always, "Are you human?" I absolutely meant no offense... again, desperation et. al.

Thank you, and Wookie, for taking the time to help answer my inquiries.

Levitas - I placed an order on 12/5 and I'm looking at a delivery date of today:

Boba's Tracking Service

Yeah, my second order was around that time, and it's also in Hazelwood. It was the first order (among the many others who ordered right before the snow), that got held back, then somehow got routed to Oregon, lol :D

Came on time no problem there but, My order was shorted one of the two juices....anyone from this thread work there or what I called and left a message and I'm not really happy about it either.
I made a post in the general section.
My order from Alien Visions just arrived. Upon opening the package I find they shorted me one of the two juices I ordered. I ordered an
18ml Boba's Bounty
18ml PG Hype
18ml Menthol Drops
& 2 6ml Empty bottles.

They billed me from the PG Hype but did not send it. There wasn't any note or anything saying it wasn't available.
I called them and was sent to there voicemail. So I left a message explaining what has happened with invoice number and such.

Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing from them before. I'll give them like 24hrs and then will have to file a complaint/dispute with VISA, or whatever course of action I can take. Any ideas from anyone, would be great. I'm never happy when this happens even if it was only $6.81 for the item shorted.

Great to hear Levi, I'm glad they've arrived! I was looking into why some packages went to Oregon like you've mentioned and I can only surmise that it was a postal routing issue. (Something along the lines of: the envelopes went into bin "B" instead of bin "A" while routing)

@Topfuel1997 - before you go through all that hassle, read your PM I just sent you. We can get you taken care of.

Man am I glad I live in Huntington Beach, CA and AVE is in Santa Clarita, CA --- Haven't experienced the OR side-track thing... Order on Friday and have it Monday almost every time - it's been Tuesday a couple times, but not often.

Not that it's THAT far away... But we're in Lancaster, CA so a little further up 14 and more desert(ish).
