i thought of getting a new carto, seeing how i just can't seem to get the hang of my new tobh atty. but the carto i have my eyes on costs 50 bucks at my local vape store whereas fast tech's only selling them for 12!!! i've heard nasty reviews on how shipping could take from weeks to months, and how some item arrived broken. my biggest concern now is the shipping period, i guess i'm alright with waiting for max a month, but do they really arrive after the month or is it just months and months then years of waiting?? has anybody here had any experiences with fast tech?

I personally haven't ordered from them yet, but some things like batteries take forever, like months. Most folks get things within 2 week or less from what I've seen. But, china is fixin to have their 3 week holiday sometime in Feb I think. So you want to get it before that. Don't remember when it is. I have heard folks say that if it says "style" it's a clone

I have placed 10 orders with fasttech with no issues so far. I always read up on what I am buying and never buy anything that doesn't have sufficient discussion and reviews (I am thankful for the guinea pigs). I prefer China Post shipping.

If you order something that is not "in stock" or "ships next day" then you may be in for a long wait. Items that ship in 7 days, for example, are likely not even in stock and may take much longer than 7 days before they ever ship.

FastTech is usually pretty good regarding mods, but never, ever order batteries from there. Batteries aren't allowed on board the air mail planes and might just be left sitting in the hong kong customs. Usually packages from there arrive in about a month or so, but might take up to 2 months to arrive.

As Susan said earlier, check all the reviews and discussions regarding a device or item there so you won't get a DOA item from the mail. Usually FastTech allows for full return and you get a new similar item.

Deb, they already had a 3 day holiday, first week of January (01-03). I've been corresponding with some very nice wholesalers there.
The year of the goat celebration (Lunar New Year) goes from February 18- 24th.
Something else to consider is that much of their goodies get shipped out of Hong Kong. So the superior man
would first check to see if there are any political (pro Democracy) demonstrations happening because I found that it will affect
how long the shipping takes.

But otherwise, I'd say go for it. Save a lot of money, and most of the goodies we use are built in Shenzhen factories anyway.
(for those that don't know, our Chinese friends invented our hobby..as well as gunpowder)

vaape, I've been buying stuff from them for well over a year. They deliver and the price is right.
In my experience it takes from 3 weeks to a month and the biggest delay happens once the items get to N.Y.
The stuff gets put on quarantine for a week for some peculiar reason I'll never understand.

Just make sure you order b4 Feb 18th or you'll have to wait until after their lunar new year party.

to ecf vaape. Nice to meet you and glad to have ya here. I have been buying from Fasttech for a year and a half and I have always been pleased with the products I have gotten from there. I do check reviews and read the discussions. I am waiting on 2 orders now from them. I don't mind waiting if it means saving. Usually 2 weeks. I have had issues where it took longer but didn't bother me. I had to contact customer service twice and both times I was super pleased with there responses. The only thing I will warn you about is for some reason (for which I don't understand) Fasteech seem have a problem with distinguishing the difference between pink and red.

i actually live really close to hong kong/shen zhen, only about 3 hrs and a half, so i think i might have it easier than you! thank u for your help!

Well get on your bike and ride, man. I'd venture you won't have the language barrier problem either so..go for it.
However, if you live so close to Shenzhen if I were you I'd visit some of the myriad factories, they love to give out sample of their wares,
and you won't have to worry about exorbitant DHL shipping costs or the many variables which influence Hong Kong Post.
