Don't buy batteries from there or it will get held up by customs for an extra few days or more (or so I hear).
Yep my first order was a mech and some 18650s. It was held up in customs for over a month, and eventually returned to Fasttech. They were really apologetic though and refunded everything I paid. Made another order eventually (no batteries) and it came through in about 2 weeks, like others have said.
These days I tend to order from eBay when I want a cheap clone. It's a few dollars more, but arrives so much faster that it's worth the price to me.
If you do go Fasttech, here are some tips:
- Don't buy batteries (see above).
- Read reviews to make sure what you're getting is what you wanted.
- Double-check the item, photos and all, from the drop-down list before you add it to your cart. I hit the wrong button once and got a REALLY weird Nimbus. No post holes and a smaller chamber. It's actually pretty cool and I still use it for some stuff, but as a newbie at the time it really set back my build progress.
- Check the availability. Twice. If it says "ships next day," then it takes about 2 days before leaving their warehouse. If it says "in stock," then it will ship in like 3-ish days, give or take. If it says anything else, expect to wait a while... (and the "ETA" numbers are not always accurate)
It's China and everything is pretty disorganized over there. But you'll get your stuff eventually and also some surprisingly decent customer service, should you need to use it. I buy stuff from them every now and then still, when I don't have a timeline of when I want it. Usually, right about the time I forgot I ordered an item is when it arrives to my doorstep. Always well packaged. (I like how they show you photos of your item packed up when you check your order status!)
