Is it common to get sick of a flavor you were in love with originally?

Now I change my wick and clean my coil daily so everything is always fresh.

Do you change the wick daily? I can understand cleaning everyday but to change the wick seems to be a lot of work daily. I generally only clean mine every 3 days. I know it depends on usage but I use my constantly, I actually probably vape more than I smoked.

RY4 was my first flavor love. I bought a few bottles and got through the first two and now don't touch it. Maybe I will return to it. I have also purchased flavors that tasted good in the store but made me grossed out after vaping the for a few minutes (Pina Colada and now pretty much any berry flavor). I still love my Cafe Mocha and German Chocolate Cake and, of course, mother's Milk and Queenside (the most expensive ones...figures!).

same experience here. i seem to burn myself out on one flavor.oddly i don't think that any of the truly expensive ones have gotten me hooked on them. take frankenvape , people rave about it, i get a bottle and i don't taste anything at all. but give me the same kiwi marshmallow flavor from a cheap b and m and i love it.

I used to be really into blueberry flavors. One day I went a little overboard chain-vaping with a blueberry flavor and almost vomited. Now every blueberry vape makes me nauseous. It sucks because blueberries are delicious. :(

How long since you vaped blueberry? I love blueberry vapes, I especially like blueberry pie vapes. I prefer the bakery flavors as I like sweet vapes.

A few weeks. I don't really mind not having blueberry anymore. There are so many other flavors out there I don't even think about it. Right now I'm in the process of finding a nice bakery cinnamon vape. I have orders from MsTsBakery and a few other vendors so we'll see if I can find one. 75% of my juice is other fruity flavors and they're all delicious even without blueberries. :p

Thanks everyone. I am shocked to hear a few don't like flavoring at all! I have 9 more juices coming in vapemail soon... hopefully something lovely....have about 10 evods of things I keep cycling thru.

That is the beauty in the sheer volume of flavors ... myself, I doubt I will ever settle for the ADV, where some people will vape something daily for ages.

I have a personality in general that when I find something I like I abuse and overuse until I can like it no more. Songs for example, on repeat in the gym until I hate them. The first juice I loved was a Cotton Candy flavour from a Canadian vendor. Thought I'd never vape anything else ever again, loved it, sure enough 3 months later I don't ever want to taste it again hahaha, but don't fret, there is so much out there now.

Some "flavor changing" people notice may be due to sensory adaptation. You vape the same flavor long enough you will stop smelling/tasting it because your body will adjust. It's the same as when you enter a room and then smell something but after a few minutes you don't smell it anymore. If you were to leave and come back given enough time you'd be able to smell what was in the room again but you have to let your body adjust.

I have boxes full of juice that I liked...and then didn't like. My problem is that I was so dumb that I stocked up on juice that I liked...and then didn't like. I hope that sometime in the not too distant future the the juices I didn't like...become juices I like. I would like that.

thank u for saying that Grimwald, <whew!> I was starting to think I was a "fool" by buying certain ones I "LOVED" in larger sizes only to fall out of love, way too soon. I too have kept them all, couple shoeboxes full (not jumbled up, lol, stood up in little rows!). I am planning to start cycling back thru all of them again, who knows? One that I didn't care for the first time might be my new "love affair" for the next 2 weeks. This is one thing I love about vaping vs smoking, the variety! The new flavors! Even when I find 1-2 out of 10 new ones that I "adore" I consider that a win. I mean I don't "love" all people I meet, all foods I eat, and some people grow on you, some foods get discovered anew later. It's like that with vaping for me! YEA!

OTOH it IS a little unsettling that you "find" this one, your TRUE FAVORITE and the next week, that one that you didn't try yet is EVEN BETTER. I now have 2-3 bottles of 36 mg nic in flavors I *still love*. Because I am new enough and still smoke 24 mg, and a RARE 36, I thought I had to get the "wonderful flavor" in 36 too. Now I'm looking at getting 0 nic bottle of it on my next order to "thin down" some of the 36 and even some of the 24 which is starting to seem a bit "strong" at times to me now after 2 1/2 months. So it goes, change, change and more change. lol
