Is it dinner or is it dog food?

Tonight I ordered a large deep dish pizza, easy sauce, ground beef, sliced beef and bacon.

I go pick it up and get home, open the box and they made it extra sauce.
Well I dont care much for tomato sauce and I paid $30.00 for this pizza.

I called the place and complained told them I want a new pizza made the way I ordered it.

Now I have my new pizza sitting here and I cant get myself to eat it wondering if they maybe did something to it because I had them make me a new one.

Im curious what others think, is it dinner or is it dog food?

LOL.....I often at times worry about the same thing. I find that I am to afraid of that happening so I don't call..... Or I call just to "voice" my opinion and tell them to keep the "freebie"

Years ago my daughter worked for what was considered a higher class steak house when she was in college as a waitress.
She told us that more on one occasion, when the plate was picked up in the kitchen, the steak would fall off. They'd pick it up, throw it back on the grill for a minute and then serve it.8-o
I never went there to eat since I NOW of the policy. I imagine that happens a lot but at least at other places there is that small doubt.

lol Im was polite about it, normally I wouldnt have ever complained this isnt the first time something like this has happened when I ordered food. Its just that its getting pretty expensive these days just to order a pizza and I get frustrated when the cook cant even read the order.

Im portioning out the pizza to the dog, I have a large rottweiler and she really loves it.
I just cant enjoy eating it now not being sure.

I order a pizza from there about once a week but tonight their mistake has cost them a loyal customer for awhile anyway.

One time I ordered a pizza easy sauce and I got it easy sausage, lol go figure.
Wish I liked tomato sauce its in so many good recipes.

overly paranoid dude. I find the fact that you couldn't eat the new pizza really weird honestly. I'd also be really happy that I got one that I'm not a huge fan of but I'll save it because I'm broke. Sure the pizza was expensive I understand that part but from what you said it sounds like you didn't eat either one of them, am I correct? That's just insane, that's $30 bucks gone, and you didn't benefit from it in any way. You're dog did... which isn't healthy for a dog but who am I to tell someone what to do with there dog.

Wow, you have pretty harsh standards. After all, as you say it was a mistake. They made it right. And yet you are going to take away business from them because of your own fears?(I almost said paranoia, but thought better of it)

just toss the thing in the oven at home until the cheese starts to bubble then it is hot enough to kill any germs..

do not send food back in restaurants though if it is young cooks..

in most places if it is something missing or put together wrong the cooks see it as the waiters or person that took the orders fault and will just redo it..

the thing that pisses cooks off is when you come in last minute and order a item that takes a long time to cook or requires them to reheat the oil. I had this happen and since the wait staff was too dumb to tell them that item can not be made right now I would go to the table and offer to upgrade their meal to a lobster dinner for the price of what they ordered and just pay out of my tips

I don't see anything weird at all about her worry. Have you never heard the horror stories of sending food back when something/anything is wrong with it?I haven't seen it yet, but there is a movie I think called "Waiting" that is a comic film that shows what really goes on sometimes to folks who send food back. Yes, telling them to fix you another pizza is the same as sending it back. Just ask a teenager--lol. I am going to check out the movie myself also.

No way would I send anything back and eat what was brought the second time around.
A ritzy, high end restaurant opened and did very well for about 12 months. They did not pay the rent for the last 8 months in their location. Lock put on the doors and on the way out with the last of her equipment this high end, top notch, everyone adores her 16.00 dollar salads (ha) MOONS the owner and 7 others as she exits the back door. GROWN woman mind you and very high end food establishment.
If she has the audacity to moon someone then she has no qualms at spitting or worse into your food before having you eat it. The world is becomming a cess pool one person at a time. Be afraid, very afraid!
Sorry, but it is true and lord help us all. I like my small group and pray they REALLY like me.
