Is it higher VG or higher PG that gives you heartburn?

Eating citrus fruit or drinking citrus juice has always given me heartburn. Stinks, because oranges are one of my favorites!

I've had heartburn on several occasions when vaping citrus e-liquid blends. Various nic strengths and pg/vg ratios never seemed to bother me.

A dose of Prilosec before indulging works for me. :)

In my opinion, the #1 factor that will cause heartburn when vaping is the actual flavor your vaping. Sweeter, darker juices will usually be the culprit - and then nicotine is also a factor along with how much you vape. However, I would like to bring up the following: I actually have really bad acid reflux which is similar to heartburn and I've found that the same is true but with the addition of VG being a culprit. I try not to have any sweets/acids before bed so as to not upset my stomach, and with VG being a sweet liquid, it often irritates it. So...it could very well be possible that the VG is your culprit. I'd say some experimentation is in order :vapor:
