I found this site before I bought anything. Then i saw that there were discounts on some sites so I immediately spent 200 bucks on one site for a mod and spare attys of different resistances at a 50% discount. Their juice really didn't have many reviews either but at 50% off I stocked up anyway. It's not bad but probably not the best juice either.

I was lucky. I saw the cheap kits in the gas station, but before buying one I went online to research them. I found ECF and got a much better setup for much cheaper the first time. I can easily see how someone would spend that kind of money on them, though. I'm just lucky I was too broke to afford the kit at the time. :)

It seems like a lot of people (including me) either bought a real cheap kit or got screwed over by a mall kiosk. I spent 50 on a crappy kit from a mall kiosk(but it's holding me over till I get my ego twist) before I found this site and all this info. I just wish there was a local store around me

Even though they are overpriced and/or junk, they still help to get the word out so you can't knock them for that. The eGo Twist is a good unit and I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

I've had a mix of experiences with the kiosk folks :glare:. Some are definitely better than others! I was lucky to have friends in the know who were using the eGo set ups- which spared me from the headaches of being new to e-cigs. The experience of the members here on the forums is invaluable- i've been using e-cigs for close to a couple of yrs now and hold the collective experience here in high regard. What's right for me may not be right for you- there are so many different set ups that work for folks its nice to know there's plenty to choose from!

My wife actually got ours for 120-160 a couple years ago, it was 2 of the cig batteries, a charger and 5-15, can't remember, cartos. I was then refilling it, for me, from either the white cloud kiosk, or the flea market. I had both batterieds die and my wife didn't want to spend the money to replace them, after all it was 120 for the kit. So until earlier this year I was on the analogs.

I paid £20 for an eGo-T and some liquid - only four days in, but does me fine. Battery lasts about 2 days I reckon, will this improve as the battery 'beds in'?
Battery life does not improve, although it sounds like you are already getting great battery life!

It depends on which Ego battery you got, as they can range from 650 to 1100 mah.
Generally speaking 100 mah = 1 hour of vape time for the average vaper.

If you are getting two days on an Ego battery, you are a pretty light vaper.

I have am using both the 650 and 1000 eGo Twist and I have only charged the 1000 since getting it Friday. Hmmm I must be a pretty light vaper. Might be why I still am smoking analogs too. Going to reflect on this..............
