Is it just me...

It seems after about a week of juicing a new juice i can't seem to taste the great flavor i did when i first started vaping it? I wonder if it could be the atomizer getting old? I use the Aspire Nautilus and now the Aspire Atlantis, i can still get nice clouds (especially with the Atlantis) but the flavor isn't the same? I've been vaping the Atlantis solid for a week and my "five pawns" has pretty well lost the great flavor. I'm getting new atomizers soon maybe that will fix the problem? Even though when i thought it was the atomizers on the Nautilus and i changed them it our it didn't really help.

And that is why I rotate through several different flavors all day long. I have at least 6 favorite flavors loaded up in various toppers all the time and when one loses its flavor or starts to taste off, I switch to another one. Even my strong menthol starts losing its bite if I vape it to long.

I do the same thing. I have four Nautilus mini tanks and six or so Halo Triton tanks. At least half of each are filled at any one time with different liquids. I like to vape harsher tobacco liquids first thing in the AM and after meals and then switch to more flavourful, dessert type (and sometimes reduced nic) juices during the day and in the evening. I like using the smaller Triton tanks when I'm out and about; they slide easily into a pocket and tend to be less conspicuous. I suppose that the side benefit is that I reduce the likelihood of "vapers tongue."

Any juice with cinnamon will cause it if you use it alot. I found out the hard way after juice for a week on it. I went to the B&M where I bought my set up to buy new juice and could not taste any of it. The one I bought with my set up was Apples & cinnamon. Live and learn as much as I love that juice i will only hit it once or twice now in a week. No more all day or week. Drink water and scrub tongue with tooth brush it will help.

btw some advice. Don't buy juice when your dealing vapor tongue. At least if they let you try the flavors. I try to change of to a different juice every day. Usually the last juice I will use is my Extreme Ice which I find helps a little bit with vapor tongue. Though don't vape on it more then a day otherwise it comes back. lol. It can really make it a pain to try to pick out some of the not so stronger juices with a subtle flavor.

Hi. Here is an old thread that talks about Vaper's Tongue.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...vaper-s-tongue-dealing-olfactory-fatigue.html

Drink LOTS of water and you can try vaping unflavored nic juice for a day or two and that will help reset your taster. Sometimes it seems to be just time that takes care of it. How long it lasts varies. It will pass.

Keeping your gear and heads/coils clean plays a big part in the flavor arena too.

Same here...I have 4 mods set up with different attys. I'll change out throughout the day for variety...it seems to keep vaper's tongue at bay for me. if things get too bad, I'll grab a clearo that has straight menthol in it and vape that for a little bit, then go back to the other gear. I haven't had vaper's tongue in the last 7 months this way.

****EDIT**** I quit reading after the above quoted post, then went back to reading all responses. It looks like my advise has been shared...many times. LOL
