Is it me or is it Dekang?

Got a few bottles from Healthcabin of Dekang.... Mango, Dr Pepper, Triple Menthol, butterscotch. Dr Pepper tastes like Dr Puke, Butterscoth tastes like hot buttered ..., Mango is like water with a drop of mango essence and menthol is menthol. Is this typical of Dekang? I see them everywhere. Also all were very runny like water, others I've had were more like an oil consistency. Skool me. Is it me and I just got bad taste or are these bad products? A bad batch? Even the VG was like water.

Maybe you just don't like their juice.

Try some juice from a juice vendor. I'd read through the juice review section, and try a few samples. Flavor is very subjective so the only real way to tell is to try it.

Sometimes you can pick up some juice samples from various vendors in the classifieds.

Awesome! You know, I just thought. Probably not a good idea to go from RY4 to Mango, straight to Dr, Pepper, then from Menthol to Butterscotch hehe, I'll try again in the morning but I'm ok with the mango just not the flavor explosion I was hoping for. Now steeping....I hadn't heard of that. You just let 'em sit and they have a chance to get better?? I'll try that with the Dr Pepper, that would be a shame to go bad, it was a 2x flavor and I just get a sour kind of twangy taste from it. I bet it needs to steep

I'll check around for samples and read reviews....other than that, I'ts just a game of try it after you buy it. Though places that have a million good reviews are probably a good bet everybody has their own taste like you say.

You have a great "local" shop in Anoka that has a big rack for you to sample from. Check them out Steve is a great guy and sells good juice. Their Strawberry Frost is quite good.

To be honest, it's doubtful that steeping will help Dekang. It's made in China and by the time you get it, I'm sure it's steeped. If might no be for you. Then again, tastes really do change. You might end up liking it in a month.

Steeping helps juices that are made to order where you chose the pg/vg ratio and nic content.

There are many great juice vendors out there, it's just a matter of hitting on the right one for you. Cooper creek house blend and Night Lite Vapor Bounty Hunter seem to be big favorites. So is Kona Creme from Virgin Vaper. I've never tried Cooper Creek but the NLV Bounty Hunter is good if you like sweet.

ANoka is where I got my set up. They're awesome. It's just a little cheaper online and with gas. Plus I was a little disapointed in a couple flavors I got from them. (Shh don't tell Steve) I did like the rockstar. For some reason I just like that thick gooey juice. Looks like I got a new hobby. Cruisin these forums and crusin for juice. At least one of 'em is free!

I'm big on the coffee I have found. Nothing I came across hits that button but I haven't got into the good tobaccos yet.

I saw there is another shop that opened in .... Rapids, have you checked it out? I am going to be in the cities next week and know I will swing by the Anoka store, and am thinking about checking out the other one. Also not sure if you have ordered from ECBlend but they have a ton of options to basically mix up your own and they sell 5ml bottles for 2.50 so you can get several of these sample sizes pretty cheap. I was hoping somebody would say that! Now I don't feel crazy. Nothing against their company I;m sure there are many happy Dekang users in fact I fand this triple menthol very nice but still....somebody knows what I'm sayin' THere is so much out there I been looking for the past hour at about 10 places all with good deals and good reviews. I think I like this "bombay"

I'm headed down to Anoka in June to visit the shop, he seems like a very nice guy. It's almost a 5 hour trip from home, but he said once he meets us he will mail our stuff that we want after that, which is totally awesome.

Yeah, he's real nice and the lady too. I don't know if it's his wife she is rock solid there every day with him. They have a lounge so you can stay a while and try flavors. Anoka is a nice little town too. They carry these Mods from Great Lakes that look awesome. Compact and tight. But they got flat screens and a couch so you can hang out for a while

The shop I got my kit out (local) sells Dekang, but told me there's is 100% PG? The first juice I got was menthol because I was a menthol smoker and I really liked it. Since then I have also bought (from the local shop here where I live) Dekang coffee (not great, low flavor and kind of dry) chocolate and coconut (awesome mixed together! 2/3 coconut, 1/3 chocolate and you've got some Mounds going on!) watermelon I really liked, mild flavor but good watermelon like instead of candy like. Vanilla I did not like at all (kind of odd redish color and just not good although now that it has sat for 2 weeks it is more vapable). Just my take on a few Dekang I have tried. Happy juice hunting! I've enjoyed that part immensely.

I've liked most of the Dekang juices I've tried, some more than others. OTOH, there are juices made stateside that I hated and won't vape again. It's all personal preference. There are good juices and bad juices. My wife hates Pepsi but loves Coca-Cola. I can take either, but my preference is Coca-Cola.

The advice about not switching around so often is good. There are foods that taste bad together in combination on a plate. Eggs and bacon go together. Not so much with eggs and sauerkraut.

It seems like the base for all the liquids from a company can taste the same at times. Like certain vendors liquids will always give me a hint of the same thing good or bad in taste if that makes sense.

I came to the same conclusion..

My first eliquid was Dekang my second week I started to DIY! Had Dekang been my only choice I may have failed in giving up the nasties. JMHO
