is it normal for my nimbus clone to be hot with dual coils?

The small chambered drippers are really good for flavor. If you add more wraps on your dual coil and make sure you have direct air flow from the air hole to your coil, it will be a pretty amazing vape. Even better, drill a hole on the other side of the top cap. Remember, the total resistance of a dual coil is cut in half. You need two 2 ohm coils to equal a total of 1 ohm resistance.

I run a dual coil nimbus at .4 ohms overall. Make sure the air holes are aligned with the coils.

Also, you need more airflow with a lower ohm set up. The stock nimbus air holes are tiny. 3/32 is a good all around size. I personally use 1/8" air holes and I love it. (I'm a direct lung hit kinda guy) Don't let people tell you that you get less flavor this way either, if anything, it's like a flavor blast in comparison to any other attys I have.

This is all under the assumption that you are chasing big vapor clouds, which I assume you are seeing as you are running A dual coil nimbus.
