In my experience, the resistance may vary due to poor contact.
The second reason - deposits on the coil.
Accordingly, in the first case, check the contacts.
In the second - burn spiral. You can use the burner. Is fine just gas stove (if any). Burn to gently, without fanaticism. Then attach the atty to PV and 5-6 times to press the power button for a few seconds. Ideally, should not be smoke.

Remark. Before work required to wash their hands. After burning, do not touch your fingers the wick and spiral.

In my experience any thing over a 0.1 ohm variation is a short or bad contact. I use 28ga A-1 in my genesis and slide the wick out daily, fire and scrub the coil, torch the mesh, then slide it back in using hemostats to keep pollutants off of the mesh as Fed mentioned.
I found dry burns with mesh in cake debris on and cause shorts

when mine changes its only like.1 and when i have shorts i normally can taste it (if its bad) In this case i think its just carbon buildup/degrading wire my coil is always 1.4-1.5 so i am not worried but the coil Phil B made in his video swung wildly (must have tasted BAD) i think he stated it swung in the range of .5 ohms i think it was like a 1.7 when he started and then he said the next day it was like 2 I would think making box mods or any battery mod would be more difficult than building an RBA but i guess its just a learning curve as i have never made my own battery mod but with the help of you guys i am really enjoying RBAs and I have only been vaping for about 4 months.

I started out using cleromizers like most new vapers ( i skipped over the stick batteries that simulate analogs and got an ego) i thought clearos were the easiest and best but damn they are soo fiddly i still have Kanger T3s for stealth vaping (going to get a mini T3 and mini ego for that later) but right now i love my AGA and when i go out i use my VV Vapes polypro 6 ml tank Great flavor no juice spitting in my mouth no gurgle nothing (just loud with a vamo or any 33hrz chip or "rattlesnake" chip) the cartomizer i have in my tank right now is the loudest i have ever had its funny to me lol.

Sorry for being off topic but for me its all about carto tanks and RBA's (also regular atomizers for dripping to taste new juices) I got a 50 ml bottle of ecto cooler from MBV and i thought it would be sweeter but its not sweet at all so sucks for me i should try to trade it. or maybe ill P.I.F. it and give 10 peeps samples.

yeah with the ecto thing i always test juice in a cleaned atty to see if i like it normally thats as far as i go before i decide if its tank worthy i dont like vivi novas much but i have an aluminum one so i put it in thier same taste, Then even worse as the vivi gave me dry hits i get no love from vivi novas always dry dry burnt hits even when practically holding it upside down I have 2 and i hate them both I dont get why they are so terrible because the stardust type clearos are practically the same thing in a smaller format but they always wick well and vivis for me never work. I decided it was not tank worthy as i didnt want to get that citrus stuck in a carto and have to chuck it (i buy them tested and punched so juice must be tank worthy for me to use one)
But the VIVI nova thing I dont get different heads even diferent models (vr 1 with air holes in base and vr 2 with air holes in the connection) ALWAYS bad experience for me. sorry for off topic on the vivi but just wanted to state i used multiple devices to try the juice
I dont lika tha juice ay lol
